Adele's personal photos stolen by hacker
Adele's baby ultrasound photo is among a number of personal snaps stolen by a hacker and posted online.
The Hello hitmaker is reportedly furious at the major security breach, which occurred after her boyfriend Simon Konecki's email was allegedly hacked into.
Photos of her five-month ultrasound scan, a selfie of the superstar
while pregnant, and a touching image of her then-newborn son Angelo
swaddled in blankets are said to have been circulated on
Facebook.com after a fan posted them online, reports Britain's Sun
on Sunday newspaper.
Another image stolen is from Adele's childhood, which shows her at
the bottom of a slide, sticking her tongue out, as well as a more
recent photo of the singer lying on a bed with a champagne bottle
and a cigarette.
The 27-year-old is incredibly protective about her family,
including her three-year-old son, which makes the leak of her
personal photos even more upsetting for the star.
Editors at the newspaper alerted Adele's management to the breach
on Friday (18Mar16), when the photos were shared on a privately-run
Facebook group for the singer's fans.
However, one devotee was said to be so outraged at the privacy
intrusion that he also contacted Adele's management.
"I was appalled and upset for Adele when I saw the pictures," he
told the publication. "They are really private and should not be
passed around. I think it is disgusting that her so-called fans
were sending them around and I thought it should be stopped.
"They are way too private, especially the scan and picture of her
when she was pregnant. If Adele wanted to share these pictures I am
sure she would. It would be up to her if she wants intimate
pictures like this shown around (sic)."
A representative for Adele has yet to comment on the report, and it
appears the leaked photos have since been taken down from
Facebook.
News of the latest celebrity hack attack emerges hours after Harry
Styles and Kendall Jenner had their intimate holiday photos from a
Christmas (15) getaway in St. Barts leaked on Twitter, after the
One Direction singer's mother had her iCloud account hacked.
