Adele planning for second baby
Soul superstar Adele is "off to have another baby" after wrapping up the North American leg of her world tour.
The Hello hitmaker performed her final live show of the year (16) in Phoenix, Arizona on Monday night (21Nov16) and concluded her concert by sharing her plans to fall pregnant in 2017.
"Give it up for me - I did it!" she exclaimed to the crowd as she
waved goodbye to her fans. "I'll see you on the other side. In a
couple of years, I'll be back. You won't be able to get rid of
me."
As she prepared to exit the stage, she then declared: "Take me
down, I'm off to have another baby!"
The Arizona gig marked the singer's 107th show on her Adele Live
2016 world tour, which kicked off in February (16).
During the trek, she has made no secret of her desire to give her
now four-year-old son, Angelo, a sibling.
"My son is about to turn four very, very soon," Adele told the
audience during her stop in Nashville, Tennessee last month
(Oct16). "I'm starting to get very emotional about it because I
feel like, once they turn four, they're not really your actual baby
anymore.
"So my womb is starting to ache a little bit. It's like, 'Baby,
baby, baby. Need a baby, need a baby!'"
However, the Brit made it clear she was not already expecting,
adding: "I'm not pregnant. I won't get pregnant until the end of
the tour."
The 28-year-old will return to the stage in February (17) and March
(17) with dates in Australia and New Zealand.
Meanwhile, Adele gave a special shout out to her "beautiful family"
on Instagram after completing Monday's show.
Sharing a snap of a cute "Mommy you did it!" banner made by her
partner Simon Konecki and little Angelo, Adele captioned the shot:
"I just finished my 107 shows in 10 months. 100% live every night.
I bloody smashed it, even if I do say so myself. You lot have been
incredible, every night you've been so beautiful, loving and
engaged."
"My band and my crew you made the whole thing turn," she added.
"And my beautiful family made it easy for me to do. Big love
x".
