Adele is marking her fourth triumphant week at the top of the Billboard 200 album chart.

The Hello singer unsurprisingly held on to the number one slot after selling another 825,000 units of her record-breaking album 25 in the past week, bringing her total sales to 5.98 million copies.

With the recent sales surge, 25 surpasses Taylor Swift's 1989 to become the biggest-selling album in the nation since Adele's own 21 record, which was released in 2011.

The Brit's feat also marks the first time an album has sold more than 695,000 copies in four different weeks since Nielsen Music officials began tracking purchases in 1991.

Justin Bieber's Purpose rises a spot to number two, while a cappella group Pentatonix's festive That's Christmas to Me record takes the number three spot.

After officially kicking off their hiatus last week (ends13Dec15), boy band One Direction rises up the chart to fourth place with Made in the A.M., and The Weeknd's Beauty Behind the Madness rounds out the top five.
