Adele marks end of 107 tour dates with celebratory banner from son
Adele has thanked her "beautiful family" for helping her smash every one of the 107 shows she has performed over the past 10 months.
The 28-year-old singer has been on the road as part of her Adele Live 2016 tour since February (16). Her show at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona, on Monday night (21Nov16) marked her final concert until next year (17), and Adele couldn't resist taking to her Instagram page to celebrate the end of the first run.
Sharing a snap of a cute "Mummy you did it!" banner made by partner
Simon Konecki and their four-year-old son Angelo, Adele captioned
the shot: "I just finished my 107 shows in 10 months. 100% live
every night. I... smashed it, even if I do say so myself. You lot
have been incredible, every night you've been so beautiful, loving
and engaged.
"My band and my crew you made the whole thing turn. And my
beautiful family made it easy for me to do. Big love x"
Adele's next concert will take place on 28 February (17) in Perth,
Australia, before she travels around the country and ends her tour
on 23 March (17) in Auckland, New Zealand.
The New Zealand concert will mark her first in the country, and
pre-sale tickets sold out in less than 15 minutes when they went on
sale at midday on Tuesday (22Nov16).
"Patrons are advised to prepare for the general public on sale
which commences at midday on Thursday, November 24," promoters
stated.
Her show in Melbourne on 18 March (17) sold out in just 30 minutes
when tickets went on sale on Monday (21Nov16) - a rate of 2,000
tickets sold per minute. Adele then added another date on 19 March
(17) in Melbourne to cope with the "phenomenal demand" from
fans.
