Singer Adam Levine is set to produce an autobiographical comedy TV series.
Kids in America will be inspired by the Maroon 5 frontman's time as an up-and-coming singer and will center on a teenager from an unconventional family who dreams of becoming a rock star, according to Deadline.
The script will be written by Family Guy's Aaron Blitzstein and
Levine, Jordan Feldstein and Josh Gummersall will serve as
executive producers.
This isn't the first autobiographical series Levine has worked on -
a show based on his friendship with writer-producer Gene Hong and
another inspired by their experience at a karaoke bar are currently
in development.
