Actress Laura Vandervoort engaged - report

Canadian actress Laura Vandervoort is reportedly engaged to wed her British boyfriend Oliver Trevena.

The Ted beauty, who also starred in TV series Smallville, began dating fellow actor Trevena last year (13) and now the couple is preparing to wed, according to UsMagazine.com.

Trevena is said to have proposed to Vandervoort, 29, on New Year's Eve (31Dec13) during a vacation in England, and the bride-to-be showed off her ring while attending the Vanity Fair Young Hollywood party in Los Angeles on Tuesday (25Feb14).

A source says, "The couple was visiting a castle in England and it was a really romantic setting. Oliver told Laura to close her eyes at 11.11 am (a number and time of significance for her), and when she opened her eyes he was down on one knee.

"She was totally surprised, and he gave her a vintage diamond ring. She's over the moon and so happy."
