Abigail Breslin and Nina Dobrev to be honored for charity work

Actresses Abigail Breslin and Nina Dobrev are among the stars set to be honored for their charity work during a special event in California next month (Jul13).

The celebrities will receive Variety's Power of Youth GenerationOn Awards alongside Jake T. Austin and Tyler Posey on 27 July (13).

Little Miss Sunshine star Breslin will be feted by editors at the industry publication for her work with Project Sunshine, which provides recreational programs for kids with medical ailments, while The Vampire Diaries beauty will be celebrated for her support of human rights organization Free the Children.

Wizards of Waverly Place hunk Austin is to be recognized for highlighting the Ronald McDonald House, which provides aid to pediatric cancer patients, and Teen Wolf star Posey will be honored for raising awareness about the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
