Aaron Paul speaks of his pride as wife is honoured for charity work

Actor Aaron Paul has heaped praise on his wife after she was honoured for her charity work on Saturday (10May14).

The Breaking Bad star was by his model partner Lauren Parsekian's side as she was feted for her anti-bullying work at the Open Hearts Foundation's fourth Annual Gala, held at actress Jane Seymour's Malibu, California home.

After she accepted an award for her dedication to the Kind Campaign, which urges youngsters to be nicer to each other, Paul said, "I couldn't be more proud of her. I feel so blessed to be able to share this evening with her - let's be honest, I feel blessed to share any evening with her.

"The back of my head hurts from smiling so much. I always sit back and applaud her on a day-to-day basis. It's nice to see everyone else applaud her tonight."

The couple wed in May last year (13) and Paul insists walking down the aisle was the best decision of his life: "Marriage is the greatest thing that has ever happened. Look how cute she is. It's been an amazing year. It's flown by."
