Welcome to The 4 to 9ers Young Hollywood interview. My name is Stephanie. This is David. This is Moses. This is Tracy. Everybody.

Really went with a 1940s newsboy. It really, the next thing she's gonna do is "Ladies and gentlemen of the studio audience! Welcome to the Highatop the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California." You really picked the cadence of a 1940s newsboy.

Yeah, yeah. And I also knew like where I was looking. Right. It's like, hello. The Titanic just sunk, see?

Okay, so The 4 to 9ers is in season three, but this is the first installment of The Day Crew. Correct?

And this is your first Your initiation into the show. And these two have been

Yeah. Yeah, first two was The 4 to 9ers, the actual 4:00 in the afternoon to 9:00 at night. And now, we're just like checking the circadian rhythm and we're getting the opposite the opposite, uh, you know.

Sometimes you say words and I have no idea what they mean.

I know, right? You're like a word calendar. I've been studying anything.

Yeah, it's all right. You're ubiquitous. It's okay.

So you just clocked out after circadian rhythm. That's right. So that's why you're the security guard at the mall.

That's right. I know these words. For new words. He's a dumb actor.

So it's all about out of college, you know, this is like your first, you know, your first job. I think the buzzword here is millennial. It is.

Yeah, because

It's all about millennials.

Yeah. Right now.

Yeah. Right now. It's we're millennials.

Right. You, maybe

No. No, I don't. No. No, not even close. Not even close.

I can't tell you how much fun it's been working on the show with the people from Subway. So great. They're so sweet, and they just they're not like coming in and go, "Hey, let's make the punchline to this joke, why don't you try a sub?" It's like they know that they're gonna gather an audience by being, you know, like the best possible rich earth for the for the jokes and and for the settings and stuff. And it's it's visually interesting. I mean, everything about it is so much fun to play with, so.

It's it's real. I mean, I think that's the key is that it feels like a real, you know, setting of, you know, this is sort of what happens in your life, you know, when you're going through so many different things. Like, what are some of the if you had to just say, you know, your first out of college, like, what were some crazy things that that you had to experience? As a job?

Yeah. Like, when you're getting out of college and you're just like the revolution was just happening.

Or with a roommate.

Right, when they were first creating the printing press.

Yeah. Like, what were you dealing with in this job?

You know, if only I could raise my middle finger at you and get away with it. I would.

Oh, it's behind this pillow. Come on, now.

So, uh, my first, actually, my first job, I worked at a little place called NASA.

No, you didn't.

What? I was gonna go to a grocery store. We worked at the I I got fired for bagging groceries not good enough.

Oh. He's working on a space station.

I put milk with eggs, and that's a big no-no.

I think my first job was a working in a dance store, like selling jazz shoes and clothes and stuff.

What which dance store was it?

Oh. What do you think of his dance scene with Doris? 'Cause it was pretty it was pretty amazing. I'm not gonna lie.

It's so great when you see 'cause I saw it a bunch of times when they were filming it, and they used different music. It was like more like friendly, like, doot doot doo doot doo doot doo. And then they And then when they showed the final, show it's like, oh! Oh! Doo doo doo. It was kind of like hip-hop, almost.

What? It's like, you know. 'Cause it had to match what you were doing.

Perfect. It was good.

I I love that your mother was like, "Let's choose that hip-hop beat and dance to this." And you were like

Right. Exactly. Music.

And the swim.

Oh, is that the butt-touching they're always talking about?

Disturbing. Is what it is. And yet I can't look away.

I would pay someone to give me a mouth concussion right about now.

The biggest difference between this season and the last season is, uh, you're really getting to see more of the characters' lives, not just in this setting, but you get to you get to go home with them.

I'm like the biggest Subway person. You can see in the interviews that we do, like, during when we're filming. I'm like, "What's everybody's favorite sandwich?" 'Cause I go to Subway.

What is your go-to sandwich?

It's a spicy Italian on Italian herbs and cheese bread with provolone, with green peppers, onions, banana peppers, maybe sometimes jalapenos, but we leave those out most of the time. And oregano, salt and pepper, um, that Southwest chipotle and honey mustard.

That is the fanciest sub I've ever heard. And now I'm hungry.

That is a lot. And pickles! Oh, and pickles and cucumbers!

Pickles.

Oh, okay. You gotta add the pickles and cucumbers. So, pretty much everything.
