'Star Trek' Star John Cho Boldly Goes 'Into Darkness'

Well, that's a very Sex in the City look. You could have played one of the friends of, you know, the various characters with that. Although it seems like the men were nude on that show a lot. Yeah, I mean it it J. J.' s really um protective of the movie going experience and that's where it comes from. I really believe that. I'm speaking for J. J. So are you typically the guy that's playing the practical joke or having it done to you?

In this instance, uh there was a big one and I had it done to me. We were shooting at a facility in Northern California that has a a big laser and they convinced me that it was radioactive. And they had the whole crew in on it. I'm really dumb. So I believed it. And then I was dumb enough to go ahead and go on set. But I was told that I had to jump up and down, shake my hands a lot and wear this cream all over my face.

No way. Are you kidding me?

No, no, I'm that dumb. I just did that all day. With cream on my face.

Who do you find to be the most like uh rabid fans? Is that the Star Trek fans or the Harold & Kumar fans? I'm not really sure what the answer to that question is, but I know the answer to this one. Who are the loudest fans?

So I know we also I want to talk about Go On as well. Matthew Perry. I know you said you were a fan. Who's Matthew?

Yeah, it was it's really I I just had stolen all my comedic moves from him. And I don't know if he knows that or whether he I'm sure he would say really? You got that from me? Was weird to me to act with a guy I'd been copying so much. On the pilot, I did do a move that was really Matthew Perry. I did a reading, you know, not this, but something like. I don't understand, though, uh, what's what's that what the classic Chandler reading. We were just off camera reading lines before the scene and he went funny. And I went oh. That was weird, cuz I did a Matthew Perry to Matthew Perry and Matthew Perry laughed in my Matthew Perry imitation. He's a he's a fan of the double take. He does it better than anyone else.
