I said don't trip it was just a sleepover.

See, we was just making friends, she said.

Then what were you doing there at 4:00 in the morning?

Well, the first time that I heard reverse on the radio.

Um, I actually was just online and I saw people posting about it and so I had to like hurry up and find satellite access and tune in and it just randomly worked out that way.

Well, when we found each other, it was it was pretty apparent that it was right because uh, we wrote reverse about 4 hours later.

Um, we uh, went right into the studio from the bar, it was literally like two blocks away and uh, the bar we met and uh, we just recorded reverse and it just uh, I don't know, I we just knew that there was something special, we just knew there was magic there.

I did it quiet so that I wouldn't wake her.

Woke up in another girl's bed.

I tell my story in reverse 'cause it hurts.

Girl it hurts too much to bear.

But I'm tantalized by their legs and long hair.

#butterflymilitia to me, it's kind of means an army of beauty and positivity.

In, like Jordy said, in a world where there's so much negativity going on.

It's just like a symbol of like, you know, a beautiful, peaceful, you know, animal.

And the militia aspect is just like a united, you know, front fighting that good fight.

The Butterfly Militia means to me and to us, um, it's kind of a peace army, you know?

Um, we kind of believe, you know, that the world's kind of, I mean we all kind of know that the world's headed down, you know, paths of war and greed and, I mean, we can't even trust, we can't trust anyone, you know?

And we just, you know, we want to be that, I don't know, at least you can trust the musicians singing your favorite song, you know?

And that's what the Butterfly Militia is.

But if I could do it again, I would do it again.

If I could bring anything on tour, uh, it would just have to be all of like my posters of Prince, because I've been married to him secretly since I was like nine years old.

If I could have the craziest stage plot imaginable, well, I've always wanted to float in as if I'm flying onto the stage.

So like, enter as if I'm like an angel flying to the stage.

I mean, once that happened, I mean, I'm not too concerned with anything else on the stage plot.

Well, I think the most uh, scariest thing about putting out a new song is you it's your baby and you you feel like your baby is beautiful already.

And so there may be some anxiety about, well, how is everyone else going to treat my baby?
