Mystery Behind Meghan Markle's Royal Wedding Dress

Hello, Young Hollywood and welcome into studio. I'm so excited about today's guest, celebrity stylist and TV personality, of course, Brad Goreski.

I'm so best-dressed.

Oh, wow. Thank you. I need like a check. I need like a check next to it best-dressed.

You already won. You look so great. Oh, thank you. And your job, you know, sometimes it's often, I'm sure not as glamorous as it seems.

True.

As a stylist, it's not easy to always just have fun and keep your cool, but you do it so well.

Thank you. Yeah, I mean, I got into this business to, you know, have fun. I love fashion. I love Hollywood. I love red carpets, so yeah. It's kind of.

The perfect fit. The perfect fit. What for you is like the standout thing, no matter what carpet you're on, that draws you to an ensemble or a look that makes you just love it?

For me, it's really the overall look. I think when there's like the perfect synergy between hair, makeup, and styling, that really makes the look come to life. I also really like it, even if it's not necessarily my taste, I like it when people do things that are unexpected and different. I like it when people kind of like, go for it, you know?

What's your favorite all time red carpet look?

You know, I was I was looking back since obviously the Met Gala is coming up and I was watching some video footage of Rihanna walking onto the carpet in that gorgeous Rei Kawakubo, like a Comme des Garçons, like crazy sculptural get-up. The gown. She's had so many great Met Gala looks. Yeah, she's just and and she walks onto the carpet like she's wearing like jeans and a t-shirt and she's got the gorgeous glam happening, the Fenty Beauty and I just love when when you kind of like gasp, you know? When you're just like my mind is blown. It's over. You know.

Mic drop.

Yeah, mic drop. But I think there were a lot of those last year.

Mic drop. Well, and for those that might not know, you have a very long client list including Sarah Hyland, Jenna Dewan, of course.

Yeah.

Lea Michele. Yes. She just got engaged.

Are you guys already like styling wedding festivities looks?

We haven't actually begun the conversations, but I'm seeing her tomorrow, so I'm sure we'll get going.

You guys are good friends, so that's going to be such a fun.

Yeah, I love her. I'm so excited to see the ring in person. I can't wait. I can't wait.

Well, speaking of weddings, you're leaving for London soon, I believe.

I am. I'm heading to the Royal wedding.

Tell me everything.

We're going to be broadcasting live from Windsor. Windsor Castle in the background. It's going to be so gorgeous. It's on E. We're doing five hours of live coverage. So classic. Myself, Juliana, Melanie Bromley. It's going to be so much fun. We start at 5:00 a. m. Eastern Standard Time. Right and early. And then go for an entire five hours. We're going to be literally.

You guys are going to have so much fun.

Totally. But you know how E does it. We are going to be covering every single possible angle. Arrivals, departures, the wedding, the procession, absolutely every single bit of the Royal wedding E is going to have for you.

Wow. That's a big job. And of course, I've got all of my feelers, fashion feelers out there trying to crack who Meghan Markle is going to be wearing. What do you think?

Well, there are a lot of rumors swirling around and people are like dropping in and out of the mix. Okay. Um so here are kind of my predictions right now. So she's really good friends with Roland Mouret who's a a Parisian designer, which would be an interesting choice for her, wearing a Parisian designer to a British Royal wedding. Right. Ralph & Russo, who are Australian born but couture designers in London. They have a gorgeous atelier there. And their collection um, you know, is all over red carpets. Hailey Steinfeld wore one of their hand-painted gowns to the Oscars two years ago and was like the most Googled gown of the year. Meghan Markle wore uh their one of their gowns in the engagement photos. And so

That was the black.

Yes, exactly. Long sleeve. That everyone talked about that dress. So for like weeks and weeks after the shoot. And then also a little bit of a dark horse, Stella McCartney's name has come into the mix, which would be really interesting because of course, she is rock royalty.

Super trendy.

Yeah. Fashion royalty. And I think it would be very fashion forward and cool for Meghan to wear such a great designer who's dressing, you know, the top names in the movie industry, the top celebrities out there. But I also kind of was kind of thinking and discussing with a friend like maybe Vivienne Westwood would also be really interesting.

Wow.

You know. That would be super. Yeah. So the moment that that door opens and Meghan steps out of it, I would just say like, you want to tune in for the five hours, but I know I just have a feeling in my gut that that moment of her fully getting out and us seeing the gown for the first time is going to change everything.

Are you allowed to do a wave if you're not royal?

Yeah, are you crazy? I'm still a queen, girl. I might not be from the royal family, but still.
