Well, I heard something about Oakwood, you lived in the Oakwood. Like the famous Oakwood. Oakwood is like this famous place where a lot of really young actors stay. Is it like a weird

It's very weird. It's a lot of young kids.

It prepared you for Shameless.

Oh, one of my fighters pussied out on me, I had to fill in. Looks like the pussy had the right idea. Get some ice on that eye.

My, uh, my younger brother on the show, um, he was also staying there and he was like had like a million friends and I was like alone all the time, because no one there was my age and I was, you know, just working, coming home and sleeping. And, um, but he had this girl that he'd like fallen in love with, 10 years old. She was 12. Older, you know, older woman. And they actually have, um, an on-site acting class at the Oakwood. Ethan came to my place one day and he was like, Jeremy, let me like use your phone. I was like, what do you want? He's like, I want to call this girl, like I really have a crush on her, and I don't want to call her from my dad's phone, that's lame.

At 10?

At 10, yeah. He's a real playboy. And, um, and I was like, all right, yeah, you can use my phone, like here you go. He gives her a call and he's like, she's going to this acting class. And I was like, great man, like go. Go get her. And he was like, no, you have to come with me. And I was like, no, no, no. What ended up happening is he started to tear up and I was like, all right, dude, I'll come. And he was like, hahaha, I gotcha. And so we go and then I see he's like, that's her, that's her. And I was like, oh cool, go talk to her. He's like, no, you go talk to her. I was like, what am I going to say to her? I don't, I don't, I don't want to go talk to her. He's like, you have to go talk to her first. He's like, go talk to her. I was like, I feel absolutely disgusting. I like go up to the 12-year-old. I'm like, hey.

She thinks you're hitting on her.

How's it going? And, uh, eventually I, I, I turned that into, this is my friend Ethan. You know Ethan, right? And he kinda comes over and then she like runs away from him. I think it was just like silly young, like, they didn't know what to do.

He has game. That's the thing. He's an incred. He's like 10 and just like, all he talks about is girl. I heard that, um, William H. Macy, that somebody asked you if he gave you any acting advice, and his advice was basically like, know your lines.

Yeah. Yes. Yes, yes, yes. Yeah, I mean, but also it sounds bad when I say like, but he, um, I mean he does, you know, he's a family man, he's got two young girls, he's got his wife, he's been acting for a long time. And but what's funny on our show is John Wells actually doesn't allow scripts on his set. Yeah. So we don't have a choice but to memorize our lines.
