All Eyez

Hey guys.

Young Hollywood

Hello. Hi. You guys look so stylish. I love it.

All Eyez

Oh, thanks so much. Annie's always looking great. And so is he.

Young Hollywood

This movie, no pressure, just one of the most iconic rappers in all of music history. You know, no pressure Tupac.

All Eyez

Right. Right, exactly. Just like.

Young Hollywood

We love your music, Tupac. You paint a picture for the listener. It's honest, pretty, but it's real.

All Eyez

I'm important from the streets. I'm educating and keeping it real. I'm hungry.

Young Hollywood

I've heard the authority that the FBI has a 4,000 page file on you.

All Eyez

Only 4,000, man. Parole fresh out of jail, California dreaming.

Young Hollywood

The resemblance is uncanny. Like, have you just been, I don't know, mistaken for Tupac like your whole life? Like what, like please give me the story here.

All Eyez

Well, I mean, it started a little bit back in like high school. That's when I first started getting called Pac. That was a nickname for me. And then as I grew older, it just kind of went to it even went to to jobs with me. They was calling me that at Target when I worked there, like my first job.

Young Hollywood

And for you, Annie, I mean, you are you're portraying Kidada, who was a huge part of his life. Tell me about the process of of learning who she is and her role in his story.

All Eyez

I got the audition, um, probably a year and a half before we actually shot it. And I remember they were like, uh, you're going to chemistry read with someone that's he's not Tupac though. Like he's not cast. And I'm thinking, well, why am I going chemistry reading with what's what are we looking for chemistry for then if he's not the guy? And when I walked in the room and I saw you, I was like, oh my God, this is he's got to be the guy. And we instantly had chemistry. I felt super comfortable with him and it was the same thing on set the first day and ever since.

Young Hollywood

In the movie, those are my favorite scenes.

All Eyez

Yeah. Oh. They're my favorite. Oh, good chister. Yes. Oh good. He's the best. It's not just cuz he's sitting like right here, you know. No, he's the best. I couldn't remember. I couldn't keep my mouth off you. He did a lot.

All Eyez

Yeah. I think we was kissing a lot. We was kissing off tape. I mean, off camera.

Young Hollywood

You like just chilling. Just practicing.

All Eyez

We was just like. We didn't tell all our business. No.

Young Hollywood

Wait, what? Hold on. Hold on. Wait. I'm going to just pose to who listens. Hold on. What? Off camera?

All Eyez

I think they were saying cut and we might have still been kissing.

Young Hollywood

Oh, okay. Yeah, for sure. You were going method with it.

All Eyez

Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. Yeah, it's part of the craft.

Young Hollywood

Well, before we go, I want because you guys are experts, I want you to fill in this Tupac lyric for me. No, you can do it. You guys both do it. I would love if Annie schooled you though. Okay. I love it. Okay, let's see. Now it's '95 and they clock me and watch me. Diamonds shining looking like I robbed.

All Eyez

Liberace.

Young Hollywood

Yes. Come on.

All Eyez

Yeah. From the bank. From the bank. We knew he was going to say.

Young Hollywood

I'm trying to be as logical as I can right now. I'd love to go back to when we played as kids, but things change. Come on, Meech. This is all you.

All Eyez

Oh, wow. What song is it? Things change. Just change it. I can't remember. I have to go to.

Young Hollywood

I'd love to go back to when we played as kids, but things change. And

All Eyez

Go ahead. And I love my mother. Why?

Young Hollywood

Yeah, close. Yeah, that's the way it is. But you're close. Yeah. Oh. Close. Okay. Right. Yeah. Okay, can we last one? That's like the end of the verse.

All Eyez

Yeah, it is. It's the very end.

Young Hollywood

Okay, from two America's Most Wanted. No, give me 50 feet. Defeat is not my destiny. Release me to the streets and keep hope alive. You guys.

All Eyez

Whatever's left in me.

Young Hollywood

You know what? Nice try. I appreciate the effort. I appreciate the effort.

All Eyez

It's been a while. The movie's in the can. Like, it's done. It's right. So, one for three. Yeah. Yeah. That's cuz of you. Yeah, I had to D Tupac. You know what I'm saying? Like I I listen to so much. Oh no. I'm a terrible. Yeah, no, I'm a terrible rapper. You can blame it on me. I'll own it. Okay. Yeah, it was my rap skills. It was my lack of rap skills. But sometimes you do have to hear it. How about that? Let's just find a whole bunch of reasons why we didn't get this.

Young Hollywood

Yeah, I know. Exactly. You got to hear it and then you're like, oh, duh. Yeah. Exactly. Yeah. Next time. Thank you guys. This is so fun. Congrats on the movie.

All Eyez

Thank you so much. Thank you so much.
