RJ here hanging out at the Young Hollywood Studio at the Four Seasons with the lovely VV Brown. Now, VV, we gotta talk about this get up. How did you wake up and say, okay, the yellow shirt with the pink top and the yellow ball. Um, I don't know, I think for me fashion is, um, an extension of the me being creative. So I wake up in the morning and it's very spontaneous and it depends on my mood and how I'm feeling. All very instinctive. I just really go by my eye and what really makes me feel good in that moment and I don't think too much. I always try and do something that's a little bit, um, off the wall or slightly off off the sort of linear path. And then how about the hair?

It's very unique. Everyone's always trying different hairstyles, but you figured out something I don't think I've quite ever seen before. Do we call it the VV? Is that the So, in England, like some they call it the VV Roll. The VV Roll, I like that. So let's talk about the album now. You wrote it. You produced it. You played like a thousand instruments on it. Like, what was it like having to wear, you know, that many roles in in putting this thing together? It was fun. It was nerve-wracking as well because obviously there's a lot of pressure on you when you have such creative control. But it was that it was just open, you know? It was a place where I could completely find myself in my music.

I tend to just be in a sort of dream world a lot of the time. Um, and that's where my ideas come from. Now, why only one string, by the way? Well, I'm not the best guitarist. I I I'm a classically trained pianist. Uh-huh. And back then when I was making the album, I didn't have any money. So, um, I couldn't buy a keyboard. So, I kind of got frustrated not being able to execute good songs knowing all the chords of the guitar. And so I took all the strings out one. My best friend thinks it's very pretentious and But I I honestly did it because out of frustration, you'll need to create a name like we have the VV Roll, this will have to be like the the VV One String. The VV One String.

There you go. Let's talk about this travel schedule. You've been telling me, you've been in the states for five months, but you're every other day it seems like you're in another city. It's been very intense. I arrived here in, um, America on the 5th of January. And literally every single day, I have been in a different city every day. We I I sometimes take three flights a day. What city surprised you the most, if there were any? Out of all the cities, my favorite, other than New York, is San Francisco. Because it's like it has the California sort of mentality where everyone's cool and laid back. But it's like really arty and hippie and Right. Bohemian and free. I really like that place.

Well, this is my stringy. It's clanging. It's not perfect but it it does the job. The VV, what are we calling it again? The VV VV One String. The VV One String. Okay. One, two, three, four. Can't believe what you've done to me. You got me feeling like a cloud in a stormy weather. Obviously, it is hard to see that the sun will never shine when we are together. How can you be so ignorant to the fact that I might be in this pain forever? When you touch me, you go insane. Fall apart like a wave on a thin feather. Do you believe that you're holding? Can't you see I'm crying blood? Oh, oh, oh. I'm crying blood. Oh, oh, oh. I'm crying tears from my eyes like a cane.
