I mean, if I were going to cast a Latino family, I would, I would kind of pick us. Yes. That's kind of amazing.

It's really, it's it's I was shocked because it's got to be hard to be, to come in as Hiram Lodge on season two of a show that, you know, people really love and embrace. But he fit in perfectly and I'm like, yeah, I could completely see us all together.

And you and Kimi, I mean, Camila Mendes, she plays your on-screen daughter. I mean, you guys, you guys honestly look identical.

No, if you see pictures of me like her age, we look very much like sisters. It's pretty amazing.

So I actually, I was lurking your Instagram.

Oh, okay.

And I saw that you did an Instagram poll with you and Mark Consuelos of who was shadier.

I did.

The fans overwhelmingly chose you as shadier. Like 70%.

I know. And I don't know if they meant it as a compliment. Cuz they be like, you're shadier. Love you. I'm like, yeah. But I was, I okay. I was really surprised. I thought for sure it would be Hiram.

That's what I thought. Like 100%, it's got to be Hiram. One of my favorite lines that you had, um, you were in the diner and you were talking to Madelaine. And you were saying, Do you know which line I'm talking about?

I do. I do. I went to high school with your mother and she didn't have any class either.

Oh. That was the one. Girl, that's my favorite line.

Really? Oh, good. I when you said that one. I really like that one. I thought it was really, really good. I've had a couple of really good lines. The don't be so thirsty. Ooh. I didn't know it was gonna hit so bad. I didn't know what it meant.

Oh, but you know now, right?

Now I know. I was like, oh, really? That's what I'm saying to my daughter. The pobrecita line when I'm drunk with the wine. Oh, yeah. I like that one a lot.

You've been given some awesome lines for sure.

So you work really closely with Camila Mendes.

Yeah.

From start to finish, you guys have gotten to spend a lot of time together. What would you say is your favorite part about working with her? So I feel like it must be really hard to keep a straight face with her.

She's hilarious. She's hilarious. And we do goof around a lot. I would say my favorite part about working with her is because we both established such a wonderful mother-daughter bond. And so whenever we get to let that creep out, whether it's the mother-daughter bond is breaking, whether we're at each other's throats, or whether we're, you know, coming together again, we really both really like those scenes. Like we really, really liked what we created. And so anytime we get to touch on that, it's it's really nice for both of us.

Yeah. I feel like it's really genuine too. Yeah. Like even like the fights for sure, I'm just like, oh my God, this is like actually happening. They're actually fighting right now.

Yeah, because it can't, it can't be, it can't be a good fight unless it's actually based on something true.

Yeah. So most important question of all, who's your favorite Riverdale couple? And if they're not a couple yet, you can create one. I always love asking this one.

Wow, that's a hard one. I would say I really like, um, Betty and Jughead. Bughead. I really like Bughead. Yeah, they're so sweet. Right? I really like them together.

I think our fans will support you on that. They're big Bughead fans over here. I'm a Bughead fan. Yeah. I'm a Bughead fan.
