Maggie Sajak

He draws you into his flame. Takes you on a ride like a paper airplane in a hurricane. Looks you in the eye when he says your name. He an all night ride on a motorcycle in the pouring rain. Ooh. He charms you senseless. Ooh. Leaves you defenseless. Wild boy. Wild boy.

Young Hollywood

Okay, first, I want to know how you juggle Princeton and a music career. How do you do that?

Maggie Sajak

Well, it can be busy at times, to be honest, because I wish I could give all of my energy, you know, to one or the other, but I love both of them. So, I love balancing it. And yeah, I think the busier I am, the more efficient I am. So, so it's been fun. And I think I would always have music in my life to some degree because it's always sort of my escape from stress, my escape from schoolwork. And so I'm just doing it to a little bit of a higher level right now.

Maggie Sajak

He's all danger and tattoos, my sugar cane devil, my favorite news.

Young Hollywood

What are you studying?

Maggie Sajak

Well, I'm not exactly sure what my major is, but um, I'm considering in the far future being a doctor. So, I'm doing some premed classes, some science things. Um, just to have that base in case I choose to go that way in this future.

Young Hollywood

That's unbelievable. I'm like, how the fact that you can like do that and you want to be a doctor and sing music, it's like are you ever exhausted?

Maggie Sajak

Sometimes, yes, but you just got to keep going.

Young Hollywood

I'm like, cuz I'm exhausted for you at this point. I'm like, oh my god.

Maggie Sajak

Oh, you can't kiss the lightning, shoot across the sky. But the moment you see him, well you know you're going to try, but I'll just disappear.

Young Hollywood

But you're what we consider destined DNA, you know, like your dad is Page Jack and you kind of have it in your blood. Like it's literally in your blood to be an entertainer. Did you always want to be an entertainer?

Maggie Sajak

I think I did. I I always, when I was little, people would be, you know, what do you want to be when you grow up? I would say a singer or an actress. And um, along the way I had different ideas, but I've seen the effect that my dad's career has had on so many people. And you know, when they say, oh, my grandma loves the show and things like that. And so even though I'm doing something different, and I'm doing music, I really see the positive impact, and I want to have that same impact.

Young Hollywood

But why did you choose country as opposed to pop or Yeah. I mean, maybe rap, I don't know. Maybe you can rap. Who knows?

Maggie Sajak

Yeah. Well, um, my dad, he worked in Nashville for a while. And so I've been sort of familiar with the town. Um, and I've always listened to country music. It's always on in the car since I was a baby basically. And um, so it really wasn't even that big of a choice for me. It was sort of just I'm singing music and that's what I'm going into. And I was really happy with that because I love the community aspect. I love going to Nashville, and everyone knows everyone and it's like a little family.

Maggie Sajak

Oh, no matter what you think, you can't tame a wild boy. Mm, you can't tame a wild boy.

Young Hollywood

You brought some, you know, great options like for budget chic fashion. It was like amazing. Um, how would you shop on a budget and what do you recommend to girls that are shopping on a budget?

Maggie Sajak

Um, I think it's important to really, you know, go to places if you're going to get something that's a little more trendy, um, go somewhere like Forever 21 or something where you can get a good deal and if you don't, you know, like it in a month, you didn't spend so much on it that you regret it. Um, that's a good trick I've learned.

Young Hollywood

Yeah. But just kind of like talk me through like what you brought today.

Maggie Sajak

Well, I have this is from BP, Nordstrom BP, like I said, I love stuff from there. I love something like this. You can just put on a T-shirt, you know, and you don't have to put a huge outfit together. Good statement piece. Um, these are a little pricier. They're free people. But I love free people, and I've had these for a few years. Wear them all the time. They can go into fall, you know, so they're useful, worth worth the money. I have this from Forever 21 as well. Really cute. I'm sort of obsessed with this color right now. Yeah. And I think everything I've kind of owned is this color.

Young Hollywood

So cute. So cute. But I love that. Yeah. You look so cute and you can like also like pair the expensive pieces with like something from Forever 21, and you're like a whole new outfit.

Maggie Sajak

Yeah, and you can keep up with the trends that way.

Young Hollywood

Yeah. Now, who would like who would be like your fashion inspiration? Or who would you ever, you know, would you ever maybe even want to do your own line of clothing, like aside from music?

Maggie Sajak

Yeah, I mean that would be amazing. I've always been into that. Like since I was little, I've liked putting outfits together. Um, so that would be great. I love taking inspiration from um, like Carrie Underwood. I think she's country, but she's also fashionable, which I love. I think that's a really cool combo and I hope to kind of bring that into my own career.

Young Hollywood

You can't tame a wild boy. With your song Wild Boy, I'm sorry, but I love it. If you guys haven't heard it, go to iTunes, download it, it's amazing. Like it should be every girl's anthem, like Oh my god.

Maggie Sajak

For better or worse, everyone has a wild boy in their life. Everybody.

Young Hollywood

Yes.
