What's up y'all, I'm Riley Green and these are my first and last.
My first kiss story. I'm really going to struggle to remember a story about my first kiss. 18 or 19 years old, running around and trying to figure out if I could learn to play guitar good enough that girls would like me. Girls in general was probably why I picked up the guitar in the first place so, still doing it. Still playing guitar trying to kiss girls and I love it. So the last time I checked my horoscope will also be the first time. I don't know what a horoscope is, I have never checked my horoscope. I know when I was born, if that helps.
Well you're a Libra.
I'm a Libra. The first time I ever found out I was Libra was today.
And I'm gonna tell you what your horoscope is. The warm glow of your positivity; is helpful right now. This is exactly how love works; The more you give away, the more you receive.
I felt like I was putting out a warm glow today, so it makes sense. I believe it. The first person I wrote a song about was probably my granddaddy Beaver. I wrote a song about him before he passed away and I played it for him at his funeral. We were really close and he was probably the reason that I got into country music, and he had an old epiphone guitar that I started learning to play on. So he's probably a big reason why I'm doing what I'm doing. My new song, I Wish Grandpas Never Died is definitely a tribute to both of my granddaddy's. They instilled a lot of values in me that came out of that song. The last time I made a bet I probably put everything on red or black and lost it all and ended up going to sleep with nothing. First celebrity crush I got Susan Sarandon. I was a big Kevin Costner fan growing up so Bull Durham was one of those movies. She was pretty hot in that one. I can remember thinking she was smoking. I got asked that one time and that didn't go over really well cause she was a lot older, but current celebrity crush I feel like everybody should say Carrie Underwood. She's pretty hard to beat. The last time I went out and had a really good time. I went to the middle of nowhere in Kentucky and climbed in a deer stand for about three days. That was pretty enjoyable. I'm looking forward to doing that again sometime. I just like being outside, I mean anything outdoors I've been a fan of since I was a kid but probably more so now it's just kind of getting away from everything and disconnecting for a few days is pretty enjoyable when you're traveling as much as I am now. The first time I fell in love, I have no idea. I don't think I've ever fell in love in my life. Hence, I don't have many love songs on my album. I'm still writing a lot of those breakup songs so maybe one day I'll find out and I'll be able to write a love song. Brad Paisley's first prank he pulled on me was he put a bunch of chicken feathers and baby powder in the bass drum so when I walked on stage, I just got covered in feathers and baby powder so, pretty memorable. I pulled a lot of pranks on Brad Paisley, dressed just like him and went out on stage with one of the guitars and act like I was playing and even put on a big Brad Paisley foam head and went out on stage, so I got him back for sure. Last time I cried. I really can't remember. I don't think I cried at like a funeral or anything, I certainly don't cry at weddings. I got close at the end of Legends of the Fall the other day. If that counts, I got a little emotional about that but I'm not a big crier. I'm Riley Green. Y'all go check out my new album Different 'Round Here, and come see me on tour. I'm headlining my Get That Man A Beer Tour for the rest of the year. I'm taking out my buddy Travis Denning, and I hope to see y'all out.
