The best part, your EP. Yes. Which you know I'm a fan of already. And Paul, we I mean most people out there know of you for being a musician, which is extremely talented, you are. And Nikkie, we know you for being an actress, an amazing actress in Twilight days and stuff. So how did this all start? You two doing music?

You know, I would just be playing guitar and piano around the house and and she would start singing. I guess uh who told us that, hey, you guys should you guys should try to cut something? It was you.

It was me. I know. Yeah. I was like, hey, this is great. You know, we uh Well, I was too afraid to sing anywhere for anyone. I just felt like well, you know, that's like a difficult transition to, you know, the whole crossover thing and I love singing, but I didn't feel like I was necessarily good enough to sing for people. And you know, Paul really, you know, he was really encouraging and and um through this, you know, I feel like maybe I can if I can stand on a stage for a couple hundred people at night and say like, hey, I'm not the best at this, but it's something I love to do and I I love writing and and they're getting into it too, you know.

I had me looking like through the glass on my wall. And say you're picking me up but I ain't the type to fall. It's the cold it don't come when it's quiet I run and it burns like the sun on the skin.

But you wrote all the songs together as well on that it's all you guys, just you guys and you wrote all together. It's it's a how how is the writing experience?

It was fun. It's different for uh for me from you know, working with a band. Yeah, so it was kind of cool, you know. I I tend to write a whole lot of songs and never finish them. And Nikkie is better at being like, hey, remember that one song. Let's piece this together and put all this stuff together and uh and she's a great lyricist as well, great writer. So it was fun taking some of her poetry and uh and turn the stuff into songs and and it worked out good.

Cuz now you're not doing Twilight. You've got more time on your hands. Have you? Or not?

Uh not right now because we're trying to, you know, we don't have a label. We're trying to do everything on our own. And that's cool. Yeah, we're we're pretty busy with that. I mean, we're like also managing ourselves too. So

Loading in the t-shirts and stuff to the venues, you know. My mom sold our merch last night at the show.

I loved it. We're professional. This is making it a family. Just think when you couldn't it couldn't get any cuter.

It does. The whole point of this of doing this together was so that we could actually spend more time together because I'm sure you know this as well, like being in this business. I could go off and do a movie for eight months and he goes and hits the road for a year and like we'll never see each other. And you know, so this was also something, you know, we were trying to find a way to be creative together and and be able to travel and stuff.

And the next uh, the next record, which obviously then you're going to do is is it going to be similar? Is there any is there any feel for it already?

We're going to work on it this month. We have two free weeks. We're going back to the South to play some shows and then we're we're going to just stay and and write. Yeah. Yeah and write. So hopefully, um, we'll have it out by like February.
