Run! Scream! Bite Me! It's Colin Farrell

About this video
Colin Farrell may be one of the few that you can make a pale, 400-year-old, soulless nightwalker and he'll still do it in style. We hear about his interest in being a part of the new 'Fright Night' and what some crazy fans shouted at him during his time at Comic-Con. Hosted by Oliver Trevena.

I think maybe one fan asked uh asked me to marry them, but I I don't think they're I think they're being facetious.
Really?
Yeah, well they asked me kind of over about 2,000 people between between he and I, so I just it would never work.
Between he and I.
Exactly.
Well, that's a massive factor as well. I'm Oliver Trevena here at Young Hollywood Studio. This handsome devil, Colin Farrell, Carl Farrell and I'm falling in love.
Really?
Yeah. Oh, Georgie. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I thought we suddenly Yeah, we're all, you know what? We got on that. We we hit our prime. Yeah, we this is it. a month or two ago. Was that our prime? Got all that free clap or off. I thought we could have gone somewhere from there still. That was it. That was a quickie. Now this bitch has moved in. He's just lying there. He's gorgeous. Yeah. How old is he?
Two years old.
Two years old. Which makes this whole story even more weird. Two years old. Fright Night. Yeah, man. A movie. Now listen to me. We've dropped up all the disappearances. That's you right there in the center next to his house. I really hate to be the one to tell you this, but that guy, your neighbor, Jerry. Yeah, he's a vampire. That is a terrible vampire name, Jerry. And the best part was that you look so terrible when
Thank you.
when I was really happy because I thought I don't want to sit through this watching Colin be all handsome and still be a vampire. I was so happy. How was it sitting through that makeup?
It was it wasn't so bad. Um, it was you know. It wasn't too much to let you bad. It wasn't too much to let me bad. It wasn't much of a stretch, man. I was in and out of the chair pretty quick, I must say. I mean, he get to his teen, he's getting painted white every day, but then again, he hasn't seen the sun in about 400 years, so I reckon he was probably pretty pasty. Very similar to exactly your upbringing. Exactly. Yes. Being an insomniac.
Yeah. And you were a fan of the original, right?
I was a fan I'm a fan of the original. Yeah. I saw it for the first time when I was 10 or 11. Um, the Nightmare on Elm Street series, and Friday the 13th, Halloween, and all those all.
Did you watch all of them when you were 10 or 11?
I probably had done them all by the time I was 13 or 14, yeah.
Scary. Nightmare on Elm Street came between me and my sleep, big style, man. Right. I'm surprised.
Yeah, big style.
I'm surprised. Few wet beds. I can still do, yeah.
Yeah, no, I stopped that when I was about 16. So yeah, still.
You don't mind my saying, you got a lot on your shoulders for a kid. The two of you alone. And your girl, Amy, she's ripe. And on that, Fright Night being obviously known the original. When you found out they were doing a remake.
Yeah. No, I was dubious. I I thought um, I'm going to pull back a little bit now because I just don't want us to rush into it.
Hey, it's too late.
Um, I she's just divine. I uh, I was dubious about the idea of it because number one, you know, remake, no actor really wants to dreams of being in a remake, I don't think. And there is what, what are you needy thing you.
Georgie, we're talking about Colin's film.
I had done like three or four years of what felt like dramatic films and dramatic roles and I wanted to have a bit of fun.
And the rest of the cast, that was the first time you worked with them all. You you you'll get along.
Yeah, moderately, moderately. I mean, we don't be calling each other. So for drink or anything like that.
Yeah, I've had a few. You should hear what they say about you.
Yeah, exactly. You give a nice answer. Yeah, can you tell me exactly what they said first. And you just got back from Comic Con. Any strange requests from fans?
Um, I think maybe one fan asked uh asked me to marry them, but I I don't think they're I think they're being facetious.
Really?
Yeah, well, they asked me kind of over about 2,000 people between between he and I, so I just it would never work.
Between he and I.
Exactly.
Well, that's a massive factor as well. Um, on that note, thanks for coming in. Handsome devil, always. Colin Farrell. Um, but watch the film because he does look crap in it at one point. Thanks, guys. Very scary. That's the selling point. Good stuff.
