What's going on guys? Hanging with me right now, I have Katie Stevens and Sam Page. How are you guys doing?

Good. Katie, welcome back. It's been forever and a half I feel like since you've been here.

Thank you. Last season.

I know, crazy. And welcome to you because this is your first time.

I know, I know. I'm a rookie.

Well, congratulations you guys on the bold type season two.

We were all so excited when we found out and we were here when we found out. Do you guys remember what you guys were doing when you heard the news?

Well, I got a phone call while I was looking at an article that like announced two seasons. And I was like, what, what, what? It was like sensory overload.

I feel like this show, I personally feel, is so popular because it's able to talk about real things so comfortably. I mean, you guys touched on diversity in the workplace, religion, sexual orientation, so many things. So I want to know is there one that you're particularly passionate about the most?

I mean, I would say for me, I'm excited we touched more on Jane's BRCA gene this season. And so that was important to me since we like touched on it a little bit last year. It was important to me that we kind of continue that storyline and kind of see where it takes Jane in terms of like where she's going in her life. And um, I know that it's something that affects a lot of women, so um, I'm happy that I get to tell that story.

Yeah, for sure. For me, relationships in the workplace that's mainly where my character is uh, rooted and I think we handle it really well and make it as difficult as it can be. Um, and then we address all that.

Have fans talked to you guys on social or just like out at events about like how you guys are changing their lives? I feel like you guys honestly, you touch on such powerful things all the time.

I get people that feel like Jane where they've had to make a decision and go to another company and it didn't pan out or um, you know, people who have lost their mothers to breast cancer. I get a lot of that as well.

Do you get anybody who's like, yeah, I have a relationship with somebody in the workplace? No.

Do they tweet you about it?

That's a overt. Um, but I did sit next to somebody at the Dodgers game the other night who in the third inning I think leaned over and said, I know you're on The Bold Type and I want to tell you that that show changed my daughter's life.

Wow.

Somebody who had dreams of of, you know, leaving home and chasing a dream in the big city and it helped her have the confidence to do that and and not, you know, be defeated by self-doubt.

And Katie, your character, she says something um, that immediately I was like, I love this line. I'm gonna read it to you. When we sensationalize people, that story gets lost. And like Mike drop, I love that. It was amazing. So I want to know, do you guys have any favorite lines in the show whether it was your character's who said it or someone else's that kind of stuck out to you, whether it was super funny, meaningful, anything like that?

The most like gutting line that I had was actually in Tuesday night's episode where Jane's talking about having lost her mom. Yeah. And she says, you know, when she was at the funeral, the priest came up to her and said, uh, you know, your mom's in a better place. And then I think my line was and I was confused because I prayed to God to keep her with me because what better place is there? And that was just so like

I forget who said it, it might have been multiple characters said it. I think it was Richard's amazing.

That's a good transition because I want to bring up your guys' zodiac signs. Katie, last time we were here, you said you're a Sagittarius.

I am.

And Sam, through my research, Scorpio.

Correct. You just confirmed. And my rising moon is a Taurus.

Oh. I want to know if you guys could say whether Jane and Richard, what signs they are. Uh-huh. Do you think you could point them out?

I feel like Jane is my mother. Oh. So I'll say that Jane is Capricorn.

Oh.

I'm a Capricorn rising. Shout out to your mom. Yes.

Richard's probably also a Scorpio. Um, but there's there's Scorpio there are shades of Scorpio all over the place. I think he's one of the more complex Scorpios. I'm one of the simple ones.
