What's going on guys? Hanging with me right now. I have Camren Bicondova from Gotham. What's up girl?
I'm chilling. How about you?
I'm chilling too. Yes. Girl you are just on fire right now. Can we just talk about your outfit?
Thank you.
You have orange eyeshadow. Yes. Which is amazing. Your eyes are popping. And then you have
These are my feet.
So are my feet. See? Twist on feet. I love it. No, you look so cute though. Seriously. So speaking of fashion trends though. Which ones are you loving? Besides like the bright colors cause we can definitely see that.
At first I hated it and now it's kinda growing on me is those really tight fitted hats, the really tight fitted beanies.
Oh, game changer. Do you have it like slouchy though or like upright?
Um, I have it slouchy. Like I I leave a little room for my scalp to breathe. I don't have it like suffocating. Yes. Right. But the look If you do it right. Lit. It's the one. It's L I T. I love it. I was really excited to come here not only because I haven't been here before but because I heard you guys have lots of snacks.
We do have lots of snacks and people do know us for that. Really? Candy, chips, whatever you need, we got you.
I saw the Snickers jar and it was I was like
After this we'll we'll cheers to one. How about that?
Okay, great. That sounds like a good plan.
So you play Selena Kyle AKA Catwoman on the show. Would you say that she's more of a superhero or a villain?
I I don't like to label anybody and I and Selena particularly hates labels because she's just trying to survive and so like if she sees someone in trouble that deserves to be helped she's gonna help them or if she sees an opportunity to steal an orange cause she needs her dose of vitamin C then she's gonna steal it. So I I I don't like to label her as either or just because I feel like she's just trying to live.
So actually fun fact, I heard that you are a professional dancer.
I am. Yes.
And you use those skills to get the role on Gotham.
I did. I did a little jiggy jat and then I got it.
That's what that's how you got the role.
Yeah, just I just went in.
You're joking, come on.
I went in. I did the dab before it was even the dab and then I got it.
That's amazing.
So what I did was in the in the breakdown it said actor must be good at cat movements. And so my cat at the time, I would wake him up when he was sleeping. I'd be like and I'd see how he reacted or um I would follow him like right kinda, you know when you have um those really, I don't know my dad used to do this to me where he would step on the back of my heels when I was walking. I would basically do that to him except I wouldn't actually do that to him. I'd just be real close to him. And I looked up um uh Cat's The Musical on YouTube and I just came up with a I figured out different moves that I wanted to learn and different um body languages that I wanted to incorporate for my cat and then I just combined it and I did it for them at my final audition and I guess it helped so
That's amazing. Yeah. So I'm a cat person. I love cats. So
Oh, cool. Let's just PSA, cats are amazing. First of all.
They get a bad rap.
They do and I feel so bad for them. They do. And people say that they're insensitive. They're actually not insensitive. They're actually very sensitive. Which is why they come off like that, right?
Exactly. See I told you guys. Those people who people are like oh my god, they're like they have no emotions. They actually have a lot of emotion they just have a hard time expressing it.
Exactly. So when they show you, you should feel special because you were chosen.
Exactly, you're the chosen one.
Exactly, see I got you. We're on the same level.
100%. So more on Selena Kyle, I feel like she inspires so many women. So how do you hope to inspire women by playing her?
So how Selena inspires me is her realism. She just takes a moment to breathe and she takes a moment to acknowledge her surroundings but in a very calm way and um she's just very in tune with herself and she's not afraid to show that. What I've learned from Selena is that you're allowed to be just as vocal as the dude in the room and you're allowed to be just as knowledgeable and just as aware of yourself as anybody else and that's what I've learned from Selena so I feel like um that's what I would hope that other girls get from her.
Amazing answer. You are definitely beyond your years.
Oh, thank you.
lady. 100%. Thank you. Well, Camren it was so much fun hanging out. Please come back anytime. The time just flew by. Come back soon.
