It's gotten so much good feedback and yeah, as much as it is fun, like it deals with important issues, things that people aren't talking about, should be talking about. You know, representation on screen. With the Black Lives Matters, uh Black Lives Matter. English is my second language. movement. Uh, storyline and that's just important stuff. And the fact that like, you know, I get to be a queer Asian American female who's like that POV is something that I've never seen on the screen. Like at the same time, it's fun. We're out in the town. We're, you know what I mean? And it's sexy. It's mature. It's very sexy. It just has a little bit of everything. And everyone that's seen it is actually very like uh surprised of the tone and, you know, how they're mini movies in a sense. So Yeah. Yeah, there's so much going on. Yeah. We're really lucky to be a part of the show, for sure.

Yeah, definitely. I mean, I want to ask, too, like how does it feel to be a part of a show that does touch on such important and actually difficult social issues?

Yeah. It feels like an honor. It's really, yeah. It it's time for it. And it feels so it feels like we've been passed the baton from people who came before us and paved the way for us to really be on screen. And now we're representing, like so many people are seeing themselves in us for so many different reasons. And we're talking about issues that really need to be addressed. That's the thing about Good Trouble, I think, uh, a word to describe it is real. This is stuff that's happening in real life. These are real people. Alice and Malika are true Los Angeles. You know, like, Yeah. You know, that's people you would run into and these stories need to be told. So, yeah.

Has there been any like fans that have like reached out to you personally and been like, you know, I really do see myself in you. And like

Oh my god, yes.

What what did they say?

I mean, for me, of course, the representation on screen, you know, of course, like, this past year has been, you know, there's been a lot of big moves in terms of Asian-Americans and entertainment. And it's like, uh, it's I mean, I'm so thrilled to like be able to witness and be a part of this movement and the impact and the changes. You know, it's like going through 20-something years of my life, you know, not seeing myself on the screen, not even realizing it's an option. You know what I mean? Like, it's it's very interesting. And now that, you know, people are taking us seriously and think we have, you know, valuable stories to tell and think we can actually relate to people on a mass. You know what I mean? I mean, it's just it's just a a a time to be, you know, uh, really appreciative and like, um, not take it for granted as well, you know, being able to tell those stories. But people do slide in my DMs, um, you know, for a lot of reasons.

Oh, okay. Let's quit. Sis. Um, you know, usually No, uh, they hit me up and they're like, oh, you know, I Alice, I am Alice. You know, my Alice is so me, stuff like that. Or you or even like, hey, how did you get into acting or stuff like that? You know, I try to give advice, you know, I'm like, oh, you know, to the best of my ability. Yeah. Um, but it is cool that it is touching a lot of people.

Yeah. Same here. I've I've actually heard a lot from a lot of foster kids or former foster kids, um, who just feel really seen by Malika's story or people who are dealing with issues with their parents or birth parents or families. And then I've heard a lot from a lot of younger black women who just feel like they haven't quite seen themselves in someone or enough in someone who looks like me on screen, you know? Yeah.

So, on social media also, there's like this huge debate about who Callie, Maia Mitchell, should choose between Bo Mertchoff and Jamie and Gael. Yes. Tommy Martinez. Yeah. Okay. So, where do you guys fall on that spectrum?

I mean, they're just both spicy fellows. I think Callie should live her best life and

And I mean, polyamorous relationships is a sort of thing. Okay. You feel me? Yeah. I mean, does she have to commit right now? Is my question. Yeah. You feel me? You know? Like, like how about, you know, Jamie and Gael Because does Gael have to commit? Maybe Jamie needs to explore that side and then they can all three become a after his night at the club. We've had like some good scenes, like friendship-wise, but yeah, definitely, you know, she has her story lines. Yeah. So it was really cool that all of us like were out on the town together. You know what I mean? Like, that was so fun. It it drove, you know, Raj, like we're never Yeah. You know, with him. So that was cool, too. And like Yeah. Yeah. That was a nice episode. I love it.

Well, because the show does center around dating, I want to get you guys' advice as yourselves. Okay. What do you call What would you do? So, like, basically, if you look at someone's story, they won't like notice that's anyone they know.

Oh, luckily, it wasn't bad enough where I couldn't recover because I I would just say something like, oh my god, that's what you said was so funny that like I wanted to send it to Bob. Right. My my good friend Bob. Yeah. Bob. Shout out to my BFF Bob. Here you go.

Last one, last one. What do you do when you like someone and you're worried it'll ruin the friendship? I mean, I'm pretty much in love with all my friends. You just got to hover. That's real.
