Welcome to the Young Hollywood Studio, guys. I'm Molly Argu and I am joined today by the lovely Troy and Bellasario. Hello. Great to see you again.
Hi. Thank you.
This summer, if you could travel three places with three people, where would you go and who would you bring?
Oh, oh my God, that's a great question. Because I feel like you need some fun summertime to throw in there. Totally. I would probably go to Greece. And I would go with my girlfriends, cuz fun. Last summer we got to all go to Italy together and it was
For your Was that your bachelorette?
It was a blast. So, I take that same group of girls and go to Greece this time. Patrick and I loved going to Iceland, but we went there in winter. Oh, wow. So, I want to go there in summer and experience the 24-hour day. So, I'd go back with him and go camping. And then maybe I'd go on a solo trip. You know what? I've always wanted to go to Machu Picchu. That would be an amazing solo trip. God, if I found myself alone there, I'd just be like, what is happening? Oh my God, why aren't I with anybody?
Pretty Little Liars, of course, has come to an end, but you're already off to the races with so many other projects. Yeah. How has this transition been for you?
It's been strange. I mean, what do you do in your life that lasts seven years? It's longer than high school, it's longer than college or most relationships. So to suddenly, you know, true. True. So to also like so young in in your life. You know what I mean? Like I feel like the the older you get the more that you have experiences that last a long time, but when you're young, things come and go very quickly because you're constantly growing. So to have something so consistent and incredible as the show and the fans of the show, it's been crazy thinking that it won't happen again.
Right. A very long relationship with Spencer.
Totally. And the cast, and everybody. But I feel like the memories from that show will continue on forever.
Absolutely. So, yeah. Well, tell me a little bit about one of your latest projects, Feed, because I believe that this is a very personal project to you. I know that you wrote it, produced.
I wrote it and then seven years later it's here. I struggled and, you know, struggle as somebody who's continuing to recover and every day is different, uh, with an eating disorder. The most frustrating thing about it is that I don't feel like there's enough conversation happening around it and there's also not enough education. A lot of people just don't understand about it. So, even in just trying to get my friends and my family to understand a lot of what was going on for me, I thought, okay, I could sit here and I could continue trying to explain it to you or I could maybe create a world in which you could sit in my shoes and experience these feelings. Wow. And maybe understand it a little bit better and that was really where it came from. I think a lot of people don't realize how prevalent this is, you know, the numbers are crazy. It's it's 20 million women and 10 million men in America at some point will go through experiencing an eating disorder or eating disorder associated behaviors. At some point in their life. So, if it's not yourself, you know somebody who's struggling with this. So I think it's good that we I don't know, take away the stigma and start talking about it.
Absolutely. I love it and Feed has such a strong message.
Everything that I learned about on Pretty Little Liars like supported me in making this story and now that I have a wonderful fan base that I feel like I can talk to about these things, I'm really grateful that we get to share this experience together.
And your husband is also an actor/director as well, right?
Yes. He he just actually recently directed his fourth episode of Suits. It was just crazy to be on set and watch him working as a director and be so experienced and also not a lot of shows get 100 episodes. It's a really special time. I actually like I almost started crying.
What a power couple. I'm like seriously.
Mostly we just sit on the couch.
Well, I'm going to help you plan your next few vacations and next time we have you here, we'll we'll discuss all about it.
Great. Wonderful. Thank you.
Thanks guys.
