This time for Shadow Hunters. Correct. A special guest star joining the show as well. Yes. And someone who's very special in your life, Sarah Hyland, your girlfriend. What was that like having her on the set and working?

That's right. Oh, so exciting. And it's she's she's such a professional and she I can't tell you anything about kind of what she does, but she does such an amazing job.

Is it just a one-off? Is it just a one episode? It's uh Or did she have an arc?

It's No, no, no. It's it's it's more convoluted than just kind of the character as an individual. Again, I'm going to be like super vague and I'm really sorry about that. I wish I could tell you more, but like

Okay, that's okay. But really, tell us everything.

It was I know, right? I know, I wish. Um, but she's she's great. The crew all fell in love with her. The cast all fell in love with her. She does such an amazing job, and I'm just incredibly proud.

You know, I I'm a little taken aback. Uh, I'm used to hearing an American accent.

Yeah. Yeah. It's yeah. there it is. Yeah, yeah. It's well, it's um it's just it's so much easier for me to like I keep my American accent on whenever I'm on set. So when I get picked up, I'm in the car and my American accent starts, and it doesn't stop until I get home that evening. Wow. So we even had we had like crew members who didn't know until like the rap party that I was British.

Can you go back and forth? Like could you just switch?

No, that's why I try not to because cuz then you make mistakes. And I'll I'll find that I'll be talking in my American accent and I'll say something. I'm like, well, that didn't sound right. That sounded weird. And I'll turn to like the other cast members and say, how do you say this word? Like cuz it's I've never had to say it in an American accent. like you said like this, and they kind of helped me through. So it's it's like constantly learning um as the as the show goes on.

Did you work with an accent coach or was it something you picked up?

No, I just I just did movies where it was like terrible, and I watched them back and I was like, well, that was awful. Like I don't want to do it like that again. So let's let's make that better.

We were talking earlier about how much you have to stay in shape for this show. There's a lot of there's a lot of. You love exercise, right?

Yeah, the exercise is fine. I enjoy the exercise and I do that a lot of weeks.

Cuz we had some of your castmates in and they were talking about the workouts that they do. Especially like Cat. She's always like posting stuff.

Yeah, Cat do Kat loves it. She's yeah, she's over her back workouts. They work out to like classical music and stuff. Yeah. No. Yeah, I know.

Okay, so what is your preferred workout?

Uh not not working out. I prefer to not work out at all. Just not eating anything.

No, I just like like yesterday, like I'm not working for a little bit. So yesterday I had like Joe's Pizza and then McDonald's twice.

Wow. There was little shame. There was.

Yeah. It's cuz that's like the first time I've said it out loud, like admitted to myself cuz you have. Oh. And don't make me Okay, so

Okay, so I had a I had a whole Joe's pepperoni pie. And then I had Wait, how big is like the entire Is this one that's supposed to like feed a I don't know, small family, like. Okay. Okay. Or just or just Dom. Okay.

Yeah. Whatever.

I'm fascinated by this.

Yeah. It's so bad. So I guess over the course of the day, I had three cheeseburgers, two McChicken sandwiches, 25 nuggets, two Coca-Colas, and three large fries. And this is what makes it so hard. It's like an addiction then I'll get back to set and they're like, no, you can't eat any of that anymore. And I'd like get the shakes. I get like withdrawals.

withdrawals. McDonald's and fast food withdrawals. Wow. It does not show though.

Well, that's very sweet. I dressed to accommodate it. So that's like if you could keep that framing. No, no, no. Don't pan out. Let's stay right there. Stay real close and we'll keep the gut out of it. That's perfect. That's all I need. That and my butt. It all goes to my butt, but well, I'm sitting so it doesn't matter.

Well, what can people expect uh from Shadow Hunters? Where are we going?

It's getting dark. A lot of darkness happens towards. Oh yeah. Towards the end of the season. It I mean, it gets as bad as it can get for Jace.
