Hey guys, welcome to Young Hollywood. I'm Molly Argu and I'm joined by the super talented Telisa Bateman.
Hi.
Welcome. It's good to see you.
Nice to see you too.
So we have some rapid fire questions. All right. Here to ask you. Are you ready?
Yes.
Coffee or tea?
Tea.
Sunshine or rainy day?
Rainy day. Oh.
Disneyland with your siblings or hiking for some quiet time alone?
Hiking for some quiet time alone.
Cupcakes or ice cream?
Ice cream.
Cats or dogs?
Dogs.
Yay! TV or movie?
Movie.
Love that. Do you have a favorite movie?
Favorite movie of all time. The Princess Bride is a great one.
Well and and I feel like too I was thinking maybe you'd choose a scary movie. A scary movie. Or actually Get Out is a great film. I just watched that. It's it's a new one and it's really really good. Oh, I love that. And we were talking a little bit earlier about how when you see a movie, you see it not just as the movie but you see all the technical parts of it because
Because I've seen mics actually sometimes now like in the back of someone's shirt. I watch for that now because I know on set sometimes I can see it myself and I'm like, oh, can you guys hide this for me? And now I've seen it in different films or even like continuity. Like seeing someone that glass like half full and then like all the way filled up. That drives me crazy.
That would be a fun game to like sit down and watch
It's like a huge pet peeve of mine now. It bugs me now because now I can't even watch it.
You have your expert eye. I believe, if I'm not mistaken, your birthday's coming up.
My birthday is coming up.
Are you a Virgo?
I am a Virgo. Yeah.
Go girl. If you could choose one birthday wish, what would it be?
One birthday wish. I don't know actually. I never Can it be like magic like get magical powers?
Yeah. Wait like anything get like five billion dollars.
Yes. It's probably a pretty greedy one.
If you get five billion dollars, come back here because you made the wish here and we'll celebrate.
That would be insane. If I got five billion dollars, I don't even know what I would do with it.
Do you have any birthday plans?
Well, with seven siblings, it's more of just like, happy birthday, Telisa.
I only have one sister. So, I can't imagine what it would be like if there were seven more of them.
It's like having seven built-in best friends. Oh.
I love that.
They're all like different parts of me.
And you're the youngest, right?
Second youngest. Okay. So I have one sibling to boss around.
Okay. That makes things That makes things a little bit better.
Definitely. It makes it easier for me.
So, what do you think to be on the younger side of the family, what's the best thing about that?
The best thing is your parents are a little easier with you. Like they get more trouble because they're supposed to be the responsible ones. True. So if I get in trouble, I can just play like the Oh, I'm sorry. But then they get in a lot of trouble. So that's the better part of it. And I feel like being on the younger side of the family, you learn to be a little sneaky. Yeah. You kinda do your own thing quietly. Manipulative. But we really support each other and I think we're all really proud of each other. So that's really nice.
And I feel like too when you have a lot of siblings, people give each other nicknames. And sometimes they're funny. Do you have a nickname?
I do. My nickname is TT, Teets McGee, McGee. It just became shorter. Now it's just Gee sometimes. I love that. And then Teets with the stinky feet. It's like just anything that rhymes basically.
Sister, you always say that even though we can't see God, we can feel His presence. In this house, I feel a different kind of presence. When the evil one. It's coming after me.
Talk to me a little bit about Comic-Con. You were just at Comic-Con and you had a big week because you had your premiere.
Yeah.
So tell us a little bit about how you're feeling. Are you so excited?
It's kind of all over now, which is really nice because it was so much like to be in with. We did I think like 63 interviews one day. Oh my god. It was exhausting. But the interviewers were so nice. They made you feel really comfortable and relaxed and it was actually a lot of fun. It just flew by.
Congratulations on everything.
Thank you.
So exciting. So many fun things coming.
Yes. In the future as well. It's crazy actually. I have a lot of different projects coming out this year.
Go girl. Well, thank you so much. That was so fun and Good luck on the the five Bs.
