Hey guys, it's Tracie here in the Young Hollywood studio and I'm finally reuniting with my all-time favorite. Ally Brooke.
Hey guys. Hi, thank you so much for having me.
I'm so happy you're finally here in our studio.
Yeah. First of all, your studio is very beautiful. It's so inviting, colorful, kind of match with the whole vibe here I feel.
Thank you. Colorful. Yeah, I wore the colors today. I definitely did. So, let's talk about first the haircut is new. Yes. On point. Loving the blond. It is
Oh thank you so much. I decided I really want to cut my hair so it's actually all cut y'all. It's not a wig this time. At one point it was a wig, but this is actually all my hair and it feels
Wait, it was a wig at one point?
Um yeah, two what was it? Last year, last fall. I did this like uh platinum blond like yeah, platinum blond. It was really fun. Thank you so much. How many times have you like changed your hair up? I feel like I've kind of stayed blond for some time but constantly kind of changed the the tone. Um and then I did do the the wig and the few extensions. It was funny because after I took off that one, um fans are like, wow her hair grew really fast. I mean some of them of course knew, but it was really funny.
Happy belated birthday.
Thank you. Thank you so much. Um we had to obviously have a little belated celebration. Oh, you guys got so surprised. Oh. What?
And I want to first talk about, you had like the most epic birthday celebration. So I was totally stalking your social media.
It was so sweet of you. I I like what to stock. It's complimentary. But I went to Vegas. Guys, this is so sweet. Are you kidding me? Because you know I love desserts. I have the biggest sweet tooth ever. I'm going to try not to eat on the camera and embarrass myself cuz I'm going to just like go all in. Try to keep my.
You can go all in. It's your birthday.
Thanks. Maybe in a little bit. But it was really incredible. I went to Vegas for a few days with um my brother, who's awesome and um his girlfriend and a few of my closest friends and we just It was so awesome. ate a ton.
I saw you went to the Sugar Factory. So speaking of desserts. Yes. Oh. Yeah, perfect. What was your favorite thing at the Sugar Factory?
Oh my goodness. Their milkshakes are unbelievable. They're like the most creative creations ever. One was uh I think it was a banana, Nutella with like some chocolate banana on the outside and tons of whip cream and chocolate on the outside of the glass. I mean, they were so
You you couldn't bring some back for us, right?
I know, I'm sorry. It was see it was too hot. It it would have melted.
I used to interview you guys every single week on the X Factor. Hello everybody and welcome to Young Hollywood. Yes.
I love you guys so much. Thank you so much.
We love you too.
Five years of Fifth Harmony. Five years this month. It's really insane to think about. Just our journey and how far we've come as individuals, as a group, just as women. It's really insane and obviously our music how much we've evolved and
Even just like for me personally having like seen you guys like growing on your journey. It's been like how is that whole like can you picture like where you were then and where you are now? Like did you ever think that this would be your life?
Yeah. Oh man, no, I mean you of course dream big. I always dreamt big when I was a young child, but just being where I am now, I mean with the girls and dropping our our new music and working on our album and just traveling the world and having the fans that we do has been something that's been so incredible. It's beyond words like we get to Harmonizers are seriously shout out to all our Harmonizers. Yes. You have like these are yours. You deserve these. And so much more. They they've completely changed our lives and they've made our dreams come true.
Well and speaking of you just dropped down. Which is I literally have put it on repeat like a million times. Yes.
Thank you, girl.
It's amazing. So what's like working on this now third album? Like how is it different?
Well, we're very excited and thrilled because we're more involved now more than ever. We are putting our own lyrics into the music, our own ideas, our own thoughts and we're really hands on with this project finally after so many years and you get to see the diverse range in each and every one of us. We want our fans to to feel empowered and to to have so much fun while they listen to the music, to dance, to feel like they can they can conquer the world and and to make them feel joy. That's what music's all about, you know, going through your ups and downs and being able to pour your experiences into the music and and hopefully people people love it and have a good time.
And I love that that's really what like you guys are about. You're so about just like empowerment and literally girl power like and it's just so it's true though. Like it's fair. I know a lot of people are really inspired by you guys. Um and then you just also um no big deal dropped your own song. You collabed with Lost Kings and S Ferg. I was also listening to that on repeat. I've been like all morning obsessed with it. So how is that like how did that whole come thing come about?
Uh, well, they had heard the Lost Kings, Nick and Rob, hey guys. They had heard that I was writing and and doing, you know, some of my own music. They heard some stuff and then they were like, we want her for look at us now. Like she would be the perfect person for that. They're like some of the sweetest um most respectful young young men I've ever come across and and they're so much fun and they're as excited and hungry as I am about creating music and about doing what they love being passionate. I love them.
