You spent a couple of seasons playing Raven on The 100. And she is what some would describe as a bad ass. There it is. Yes. I'm just going to throw that in air quotes. Air quotes everybody. How fun has it been for you to play this character?

Oh, it's It's been a blast. It's I I like I love Raven like deep in my soul. Like I I do. Like I like I protect her, you know? Yeah. And she's so smart. Way smarter than me. So. To be like I'm a genius and everyone be like oh yeah listen to her is doesn't happen a lot for Raven. Right. And she's got crazy moves. She's yeah she's awesome. Um, you know but she goes through quite a lot. And so I now I just kind of admire her. I'm just kind of like, "How are you alive?" You know?

And you are half Irish and half Mexican. Is that right?

Yes.

As am I, clearly. No. I'm sorry as like Something in there. Something in there. When do you feel most Irish and when do you feel most Mexican?

Oh my gosh. That's a tough one. I would say I guess I'd have to be to just be with my when I'm with my family, like the different sides of my family. When I'm back especially when I'm Cuz my mom is from El Paso, which is a border town in Texas. And so that's where my grandmother and my aunts and my uncles live. And so when I'm there it just gets very like, "Ole!" You know, like obviously I start talking different and you know speaking Spanish out of nowhere. I don't speak very well. But I'm I'm all about I'm all about it. And then the Irish side I guess, you know yeah I guess when my dad's side of the family, you know, they're very you know they're they're also they're in Texas too. And so they're they're very Southern also. Southern Irish I guess. Okay. So you know we'll play football and eat corn beef and you know watch the game.

Holidays must be really, really fun.

They're super fun but they're super different, you know? It's just like it just depends where I am and what we do. Yeah.

And you were um raised in Texas?

Yes.

But now you live part time in Vancouver.

I do.

Almost great the great North. How is your adopted home? How have you have you adapted?

Oh, oh oh my god. I've adapted a little too well.

Really? Are you practically Canadian now?

I know. I also still say y'all. So Okay. I'm this weird Canadian Texan hybrid growing up. And that's also who looks Mexican. Everyone's very confused by it.

I love it. I love it. And playing Raven I imagine that you've incurred some injuries.

Oh my gosh. Definitely. I have quite the collection.

Really? What's the What's the worst you've ever had?

The worst Oh, I just had a really bad one. Um

It's not a spoiler, yeah. It was from it was from a stunt though so.

Oh actually, it is in the trailer. I don't know how much I can say. So there's a there's a If you really watch the trailer, there's a part where Raven's like going crazy and like banging her head. Okay. A lot and there's a it's a metal bed frame. Okay. So. Oh. Wow. One of those kind of injuries. It was just like, you know, it was so intense in the moment. I didn't feel anything. And then and then um and then after a while uh it was just like twingy and then I was like working out and it just whole arm spasm. I was like, "Ooh."

Oh my gosh. You need me to massage it out for you? Like I'm really good at this. I have small hands. They're small but mighty. You got the silk pillow. You got the candles. You're coming back. You're coming back.
