Oh, we have to explode. You can. I think when you're doing parabolic airplane flight, you just don't want the plane explode. You know what I mean? I know that you guys had actually been planning this for a while. This was just one of those things on your to-do list.

Well, our to-do list has a lot of things that will never happen because they're ridiculous.

Like what?

Well, like this video. Like we did not think this would be.

But wait, you did make it happen.

This video did happen, but we for 10 years we wanted to make this, but honestly never thought we would. Simply because it's so ridiculous to try to make this happen. Like we're in zero gravity in the video. And the way you get in zero gravity is you get in a plane and you the plane throws you up in the air and then catches you 30 seconds later. So, you have to have an airplane for one, and that's not easy for people to get. And then you have to do this enough times that you can actually get good at like dancing in zero gravity. So it just seemed impossible to ever solve the like logistical riddle of actually getting an airplane for that amount of time. We met a Russian airline and they were like,

This happened to me in a Russian airline. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I should say as one does.

Yes, exactly. What do you do? Yes, exactly. What do you do? People from the airline reached out and said like, if we gave you access to our planes like, what would you want to do as an art project? And it really felt like I remember pinching myself and being like, that didn't just happen, did it? Cuz that's like what we've been dreaming of for so long. So we pitched this idea and they and they were into it and so we got to go make a video in zero gravity.

And you actually had to train for it the way that Russian cosmonauts do, actually, right?

That is true. We didn't really know what to expect on the first flight. Right.

I saw some of the behind-the-scenes videos, you looked especially nervous.

I was really nervous. I got very green on the first flight.

Really? And I did read that there were 58 puke events. I think that's the official official name.

Oh, you were not. I never, I never did.

How about you?

Tim never puked, I never puked.

You blacked out, though.

I did black out once. Yeah. What happens is your body goes from twice the force of gravity to zero gravity, and your body freaks out. If you happen to also be doing a lot of flips during that time, your body freaks out.

Which you happened to be doing.

That's what was happening.

Damian, you directed this with your sister? Yep. Um, Trish Sie. Tim, is he a good director? He seems kind of bossy. From the video. Can you say a little? Wait, wait, wait, hold on, just to hear me, Damian. Ear muffs. Second guest: Yeah. He's a little bossy. A little bit. I wouldn't say bossy. He knows how to get things done. Okay. And he's a diva.

Yeah, that's true. Bossy-ass diva. Both Tim and Trish are phenomenal directors. We sort of fell into this thing where we were making videos. We're a rock band that wrote songs and played tours. And we made a couple videos and they were really successful and suddenly we the four of us got to just chase creativity in many more directions than we used to. And we we can sort of locate the moment when that door opened up and that was 10 years ago and that's when we started using YouTube. YouTube was basically unknown at that point. We're just like, oh, we'll make this thing and put it on YouTube and it was wildly successful. And that taught us the lesson that like, don't worry about how everything, how everybody puts stuff out in the world. Just make great stuff and see if you can put it in front of people. And like if people will find it, everyone will be happy. Right. So so every time we release a new video, we try to just be like, don't worry about the rules too much. Just go look at what's out there. Don't worry about gravity, you know, whatever. We've been best friends since we were 11 years old. And we've been in bands together. We've like we've uh, you know, designed posters together. We've made little TV shows together. We like all friends do. You just make stuff because it's fun. And the fact that our band has all these outlets to do that that aren't just the standard music industry is awesome. We're making stuff for people and the more people get to see it, the happier we are. Yeah. You really cannot fake being inspired or like loving what you do. You make stuff that is exciting to you and hope that you've got good taste. And then you cross your fingers. You know what I mean?

To add cuz I know that you guys just come out with just amazing stuff video after video. I too have a lot of ideas for videos.
