We actually have a whole audience. You can't see behind the camera right now, but we have all these little girls sitting here. Lots of people today. They wanna learn some dance moves from us. Oh, dance moves. All right. If you were stranded on an island, what three things could you not live without? What, you know, like one of those giant Hershey bars. Like, I would want like the biggest one you could buy. It like What is it melt? No, in the plastic you put it in the water and then we'll out. 'Cause it that works as like a natural fridge. Well, I don't know if you live in real life, but okay, let's just So, in my island there's waterfall where I can hide my chocolate. And We actually have a whole audience. You can't see behind the camera right now, but we have all these little girls sitting here. Lots of people today. They wanna learn some dance moves from us. Oh, dance moves. All right. And first of all, the songs 'cause I heard one song that gets really stuck in my head. Mm-hm. Gotta Gotta be me. Oh, yeah. Oh my God, I've been singing it all morning. It's the most catchy song. And you guys are gonna be obsessed with it when you see when you see.
We've been listening to it all week in dance rehearsals. So, Yeah, we have. I feel like it's Does that happen where you get like, you hear it so much that you just cannot stop singing? Is there any one particular song that we can't stop singing?
Yes.
Let's see what we did there.
Yeah.
Yeah, I think it gets stuck in your head the way that any, I mean. Actually no, more than other. There's no way that any song gets stuck. No, it's so much more. They're really catchy.
It's like the songs you're using to promote the the movie the most are always the ones that you're like, Ugh, stop saying those words. But you can't stop singing. That's a good thing though. You can't stop singing. I have just a couple of like rapid fire questions. Yes. So, Okay. I know the first one's cliché, but I have to ask it because it's relevant. If you were stranded on an island, what three things could you not live without? Starting with Grace.
Okay. I have mine.
Oh, you. Oh, no. Starting with Garrett.
Okay.
Okay, then Garrett.
Okay. Um, like what, you know, like one of those giant Hershey bars. Like, I would want like the biggest one you could buy. And then I'd store it, um, like in a like in a.
Wouldn't it melt?
Okay. No, in the plastic you put it in the water and then roll it out. 'Cause that that works as like a natural fridge. And then, um, I would bring a giant.
But she's specific. A giant.
Well, no, like a like a waterfall. Like and, you know, and I like some bamboo or something.
He's not out of the movie world right now. Well, I don't know if you live in real life, but, okay, let's just So, in my island there's a waterfall where I can hide my chocolate. And
Okay, I want to I want to I think we just need to all be stranded on an island with Garrett. And life would be complete.
I've done that.
Exactly.
And then, um, okay. So, my other two, because I've read the emergency book. Um, and I would have a nice big box of matches. So, you know, you could cook your food or start a fire. That would be, those things. And until, you know, I, you know, figure out how to actually make a fire with that matches, because otherwise I'll die. Um, and then a tarp, because it's the most universal object.
Yeah. You thought this out.
I have. I've also I've mapped out the zombie apocalypse with my friends. It's a whole thing. Um, and then also a tarp, because it's the most universal object. So, you can make it either as a shelter, or you can hide from the rain, or you can use it as a blanket, et cetera. Be that.
Grace.
I mean, I can't I like This has to be that question and I'm feeling sad about the status of like joy and soul in my life 'cause if I was just like I was like, well, yeah, water food sunscreen. That's what I was like It's so what's funny is this is where guys are actually you're you're proving that you could be more complicated than girls, right? We can move on. No, no.
Yeah. You can also kinda use mud as like a sunscreen, by the way.
That sounds cute. Here just kinda gotta mud.
So, everyone wants to start on the island. He knows what to do. But then what if there's not mud? You're assuming that there's soil. Or just be wet sand. I need more details about this island. Sunscreen will run out. You need things to stay alive. You know what? We can make a movie about it. Maybe it'll be the plot of Teen Beach 3. Teen Beach 2 or 3. Ooh. Oh, no. And uh uh uh uh some sort of sports ball friend. That'd be good. That's.
Yes. Sports ball friend.
Taking a lot of liberty in. Okay, we can keep going on this. Um, next. Name a song that makes you instantly break out the dance moves when you hear it. I mean, there's so many. This has happened to me yesterday. I was on I was doing a phone interview, but then the wait music started with the Ooga Chaka. And it was Hooked on a Feeling. And it was stuck in my head all day, and I started dancing in my work because I was like, when do you hear that song? Through the Ooga. 'Cause I. Ooga Chaka, Ooga Ooga, Ooga Chaka. Hooked on a Feeling. And it was like I don't know who. That would be the last song I would have thought you said, but that's wonderful. Okay. Garrett. Let's hear yours.
Random answer. It's gonna sound a it sounds so cliché at the moment if this was like maybe like five months from now then people would be over it, but Bruno Mars at the moment with Uptown Funk.
I had a feeling you were gonna say that. That's why I kind of I thought it was gonna be that or like Happy.
I kind of made it my ringtone. Kind of. So, then every time I answer the phone I start dancing.
Well, that's bad because then you don't wanna answer your phone calls.
Oh, that's true.
Oh my God, you're making a mistake, but you're just like, I like this song. You're keeping someone waiting.
I've actually been worried about I've actually missed a couple calls, and I had to call people back. I'm like, sorry, I was dancing to my ringtone.
Okay, and then. Oh my God, I just want to hang out with you. Okay, this is a pretty easy one. Do you wanna build a Snowman? Sand Castle. Or snowman. Got it. You got us. He got you.
Yeah, you have to say Sand Castle, obviously.
Okay, so out of the cast, who would be the most likely to get buried in the sand and by who?
I mean, I think Garrett would be.
Buried if it was a bit in the movie, my character, Tanner would be the one to be buried in the sand. That is the truth. That's a true thing.
Okay. But in real life are you asking, or in the film?
Yeah, in real life. In real life.
In real life, Kent.
Yes. Yes. Kent probably. Kent would be down for it, and it would be worth the times of the joke. He would be so funny. They'd be like, This. So he'd like have like this head thing that would be going. Would be worth it. And it'd be Chrissy and Kent. It would be Chrissy and Kent. But I feel like Kent would like pop his arms out of the sand like, ah. Like. You know. So, it's turned into like a dance clearly.
It would be it would be a dance.
And then last one. What's your favorite song to sing in the shower? Everyone wants to Everyone does it, obviously.
I actually bother my roommate with Sherry a lot from Frankie Avalon and the Four Seasons. That's funny. And then I was like I hear them through the walls, shut up. 'Cause it's like really loud. Uh, whatever.
That's really funny. My dog sits by my shower, just you know, 'cause she has to like lick my legs when I come out of the shower. So, she gets really excited about it. So, then you're like
She's like, my mom is so wet. You get back in the shower again 'cause you feel
They're They're dogs germs. They don't count. I wish my dog wasn't scared of the bathroom. He's so scared of like taking a bath. He screams and I'm like, I just want you to be clean. You smell so bad.
When when you release your celebrity-written uh, children's book. It'll be called, I Wish My Dog Wasn't Afraid of the Bathroom.
No, it's gonna be called Orion and the Menacing Tub.
I feel like these these are all like storylines people for the next Teen Beach movies. Dogs that are scared of bathroom. They're scared of bathroom. Yeah, that's a good one. Okay.
No, I say I plus I do um, sometimes I do uh, 'cause I just sing to my dog. Sometimes I'll be like sister Kristen, but it'll be like, healed the bread. Wag your tail. I spend most of my days making up songs. My dog. It's okay.
We're gonna actually teach some girls a quick little dance move. Woo hoo. All right. So, we've got a group of little fans who are they're all awesome dancers I think, and they're really excited to learn some dance moves. It's from the song that we do. It's the chorus. We've repeated it a lot. I think it's really fun. Uh, and I think these are kind of moves that you can pull out to other music at a party.
Yes. They are actually. I think that works. If you, yeah.
If you feel like doing a choreographed dance at a party. If you want your friends to think that you're super fresh and cool, you should do this. So, the first move, it's uh, your arms are out like you're holding a tray. But you're like, no, I don't wanna look at them I don't wanna look at them with my hands. I don't wanna look at that part. You like, what what am I doing? Palmistry? So, you go like this. And then you kinda you kinda bend down a little bit. And then you shake it, shake it, shake it up. And then you shake it, shake it, shake it down. So, it's like that. So, it's um, five, six, seven, eight. One and two, three and four. So, you're gonna wanna step back on your right foot and thumbs up. Thumbs up. Thumbs up, people. And then you're like, what? So, you're gonna step back. One, two, and then step forward and switch your arms. Three and switch again. side. Four. We got this. We got this. And then, uh I only did that like a million times and just messed it up. All right, so, do you want to do and then, um, so you do, um, So, So, five, six, seven, eight. And then you get your sparkliest hands going. So, the most sparkly you can get your hands. And then you're just gonna throw them out to the right. And then with your right foot. Sparkle. Sparkle. Two. And then reach around. And then you reach around to sort of like you're driving a motorcycle and you go, And then up on your toes and up on your shoulders. One, two. So, one, two. Yeah. Right? Piece of cake. Right, guys? Kinda. From the top. So, together at the beginning you've got to, five, six, seven, eight. And then you And then you guys are awesome.
