I know, it's been forever. I was the one who was late. I'm so sorry. What's going on?

Oh my god, you're so cute. How fun is this that like we can do that. You know what I mean? like It's so cool.

So, we should talk about the Kids Choice Awards this Saturday.

Yeah.

Are you excited? What do you plan for the day?

Already filmed it actually.

Oh, you filmed it.

Yeah, I did. I did. We pre-taped it. Um, and it was great. It was really fun. Things went really smoothly and uh, what time? I woke up, I don't know, like around 10:00 or something and then we just had break we made myself an omelet, did hair and makeup really quick and then just hopped on and did it. I had like a nice little background that I created for myself. They sent over some like balloons and some fun flowers and festive stuff and of course, you know, blimps and some slime for decoration and you guys are just gonna have to tune in to see, but it was fun. You know, we're we're doing the best we can, you know, where I'm at home. I'm quarantined, I'm I'm we're trying to make it work, but I think, uh, I think it's gonna be good.

To, how are you gonna watch it? Like are you having FaceTime, people are gonna FaceTime in or anything, or you're just gonna watch it by yourself at home.

I'm actually at home with my family right now. Okay. And so we're all together so we'll probably all watch it together. Mhm. Even though like I'm so weird. I don't like watching myself that much. It's like a weird thing, but uh, but it'll be fun. I have to watch it too because like I do something really fun and it'll be cool to watch that back.

Anything you can tell us of like how it's gonna like any secrets of just like what they're gonna do now that it's all virtual? Because it's gonna be totally different experience. I'm

Yeah. Yeah, I mean any secrets? I mean, you just have to tune in to see how it goes down. But it's it's gonna be really fun, you know, it's obviously a totally unique Kids Choice Awards. It's never been done like this before. It's me hosting from my house, very casually, you know? Um, and but there's lots of fun, uh, appearances by so many cool people. We got like The Rock, and we have Ellen DeGeneres and BTS and uh, so many people. Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, um, and the list goes on and on and on. Like so many awesome people that are, you know, making their uh, acceptance speeches and doing fun stuff like from their homes. So, you know, people are just getting really creative with it and having fun with it, you know, it's a Kids Choice Awards after all so there's definitely also slime involved.

I know that the voting was done at home by kids before they found out that everything was gonna be virtual. So, now that people like these kids that voted online and everything like that are gonna see their favorite celebrities in their own homes. Yeah. That will add like a really like nice twist to it, like people seeing what their at home.

I know. I think it's like a really unique experience and I think it's gonna be cool for kids in a lot of ways. I mean at the end of the day, I think it sort of makes these people that they look up to more relatable because it's like, we're all in this together, you know? We're all we all have to stay home and we all have to to follow the same rules and and guidelines and whatnot. I think it's gonna be cool for kids to see like their their favorite stars just like in their homes like in their sweatpants or with, you know, their family or whoever or their pets. I think that's, you know, it's a unique opportunity to to do that.

like and different outfits for this? 'Cause I know like normally when you when you would host something like this, you're gonna have like 20,000 different wardrobe changes, right?

Yeah, normally I would go all out. Um.

Yeah, as I was saying, as I was saying, you're like, I'm home. I'm in my sweatpants, chilling out, like.

Yeah, I mean, it's pretty like I'm kind of just in like the same outfit for the entire thing, like just like keeping it really casual. You know? Yeah. I'm crazy. Oh, it's awesome. So yeah, I know. I've heard. I've heard of that. Well, I don't know who this is, but like yeah. Yeah. No. Of course. Yeah, you were you were with us when we were at that place.

I was? No Tracy. Yeah, we got I think it was at I forget where it was, maybe VidCon.

VidCon. Yeah. No way. Did you guys like it?

Yeah, it was so cool. It's pretty fun.

Yeah, it was. But I love slime. Like I can watch slime videos on Instagram too. Like I love slime. Genuinely. Yeah, I love slime so much and they got stuck to my clothes so I had to wash off.

Yeah. It does that. It's very green and very slimy and it'll get it'll stain stuff if you don't wash it right away. Never figured out how to do those videos of how to make slime. It just looks so it looks so fun but like complicated.

Yeah. I don't know. I've never actually made my own slime, but like I just love playing with it and watching it. It's fun. So that's like a that's a great quarantine activity. Just sit there.

It really is. Right? What's your what's like what have you been doing in quarantine? Any like fun activities that we all need ideas.

I've been learning how to cook more stuff, which has been fun. Um, I'm perfecting my breakfast omelet, which I've been doing with mushrooms and onions and spinach and then like some fresh cracked pepper at the end and like some nice brioche bread and it's been delicious.

Did you hop on the banana bread trend or anything? Did you make banana bread?

No. I didn't. I didn't. I feel like everybody on Instagram was making banana bread. Everyone was making it. The that became like the thing to do. I don't know who established that banana bread was going to be the thing but like someone made it a thing and it became everybody's thing.

I feel it started on Tik Tok or something.

Yeah. I feel it had to. I feel like everything's also starting from Tik Tok. Like what everyone's doing on Tik Tok. Like what everyone's doing. Yeah. Tik Tok is fun. I haven't I haven't made a Tik Tok yet, but I'm like tempted. I'm watching it and I'm like, that looks really fun. Have you have you made any and put them in your drafts or you haven't made one at all?

I have maybe made one and put it in my drafts. Yeah, they were seeing There was the pew pew pew one but it wasn't like anything I was actually going to post. I just was like messing around for fun. Um, it was really fun. And then didn't you just have like a 10 year reunion that you guys just did a whole Zoom with the cast?

Yeah. Yeah, we did. I know girls girls wanted to ask you a question about that.

Oh, yeah. Tilly and Talia, didn't you guys have a question?

Okay, so did you have fun with Arianne Grande like all of the cast when you were? Did you have fun with all that by the way, I just had to ask when we were doing the show?

Yeah. Yeah, we had so much fun. Those were some of the most fun times of my life for sure. Like

Yeah, are you guys still

Like, Yeah, because it's like we we were all really good friends and just like, I don't know, just being able to be on a show every day and work with people your own age is really fun. And there was like music and so we were always like singing and dancing and just like hanging out eating lunch together hanging out in the green room and there were really fun times.

Uh what was your favorite show of yours to film?

Um, favorite show of mine to film. I mean, that's hard because I've had fun doing all of them, but I mean, I will say like when I did the first season of Zoey 101, which I came in on the second season. Um, that was so much fun because well, I was like 12 years old and again, I was with like a bunch of like teenagers and like kids like around my own age. So getting to hang out with them and then we also filmed in Malibu. So we were like right by the ocean, we filmed at Pepperdine University, which is like this beautiful college campus and it was just gorgeous.

Do you still like hang out with people from the show?

Occasionally, you know, it's hard because it's like we're all busy with our own lives now and people are in different places and everyone's so busy all the time, you know? But um, you know, whenever we get opportunities to, yeah, for sure.

What was your favorite episode?

My favorite episode was probably an episode called Survival of the Hottest, where we all get trapped in an RV together.

I remember that one. That was cool. Why was that your favorite one?

I just thought it was really funny.

I thought the writing was really funny and I loved the fact that that we were all together like stuck in this RV and like and then like Arianna Grande like she's like laughed and she didn't like. Yeah, she was like hanging out with like these boys flirting and we're like dying of of like heat and like drinking out of a a bottle cap trying to share water. Like I just thought the whole thing was very funny. So, um, in Victorious, what was your favorite song you sang?

That is a good question. Um, what was my favorite song?

Maybe I don't know it's hard cuz I really liked a lot of them. Um, I love the one where like you were singing it for like this sister. For her birthday. Oh, yeah, you like that one. That's awesome.

You're the reason. That was My friends take a hit them. I I love take a hit was really fun. That was one

Yeah, we always listen to them. And I also liked Best Friend's Brother a lot too. Yeah. Um, a lot of fun ones. Freak the Freak Out, I love Freak the Freak Out.

Me and my friends still listen to it. Really? Yeah. Every time we're like in the car or something, we always play them. Yeah.

Oh, I love that. That makes me happy.
