Hi guys, thank you so much for joining Young Hollywood today.
Oh, thank you for having us.
For sure. I want to talk to you obviously all about Scoob and your characters and you guys are like described as like the Yin and Yang. You work close together and everything. What is your what was each of yours like favorite set of lines you had for each of your characters?
Um, I think my favorite line was to Blue Falcon and he said, anonymous gave him, gave a tip and why would anonymous use his real name? And I'm saying, do you think anonymous is the name of a person? And That's right. I had so much fun doing that. I think I did it like when they were like, we got it. I'm like, no, let me just give a hundred more takes. Yeah. I like, I think when my, um, when Dynomutt, his interface got hacked and he's just doing kind of random sounds. That was that was a lot of fun to do and, and, um, to try to kind of reference my vocal performance to the imaginations of, of the animators. That was that was a lot of fun to see. That was a good part.
Yeah. And when you guys watch it, are you who are you going to be with, like your families or?
Um, I, well, I have, I've watched it but on the premiere day, obviously. Um, I don't believe I'll be with my family. Unfortunately, my siblings and my mom and my dad, we're all still, um, gonna be in isolation but I'll be here with my dog and my girlfriend and that's my little family at home and yeah. Little immediate family will watch it together. That'll be fun.
Yeah.
Yeah, I actually saw it with my wife and kids, you know, at home and it was so much fun. We actually, you know, got some popcorn made and, you know, you know, I was just like a little usher in the theater just giving them, you know, tips and make sure they turn their cell phones off and they really got to be quiet. He really had a lot of popcorn and he was not back of his daughter's head. Yeah. And then then there was there people were talking during the during the show and then I I just had to get I had to escort them out of the living room just like an usher would and it was just so great. Just got that movie feel. And then I I was like, you know what, I don't know, I think I took this too far. This is just really silly. You can come back in you can come back in the living room and it was it was great. It was great, you know, it was a it it got that theater feel. It was really great.
Yeah. And what was your kids' favorite part of the movie?
What I I think the favorite part of the movie was I think Scooby was my kids' favorite part of the movie, you know, I think just kind of because they grew up on, you know, I I we me and my wife we show them old Scooby Doo back in the day too. So we really love the Scooby Doo universe. And but I think my daughter's got a kick out of me being kind of an heroic figure. You know, I don't really get to play kind of a heroic character and, um, particularly one of my daughter's look at me and was like, oh, far out or whatever she said. Something like that. I think she said far out. Yeah, she said far out for sure. She said, Daddy, oh, far out. I'm like, wow, so cool. Yeah. She said far out for sure.
You're speaking my language. Yeah, far out. That's bitching. That's what Zoe said. Quotes. Zoe said that's bitchin. Oh. Zoe's twelve and like Ken just lets her say whatever she wants. So
