Congrats season three! Are you guys excited?

So excited.

What do you think the biggest difference is between when you guys were filming season one together and then filming season three?

Whoa. I think we've all been through a lot of changes since season one. Um, I always say sort of like season one was like the creation of it all, so like we we're having so much fun behind the scenes but also like really laying down the map for what our show was just gonna be. And now that we live so comfortably in this world and in these characters, we had so much freedom to like explore and take risks and like just like be crazy and unapologetic in every sense of the way. So, this season was really fun and like we learned so much from each other, for sure.

Yes, I'd say the same. Yeah, I mean, I think another cool thing about having done the show for three seasons now is that like every you have a you understand people's cadences and like what they're gonna bring, but also there's still like an element of surprise. So it definitely feels like a huge collaborative thing where you're like, oh my gosh, I'm like acting with these people and I'm like, I kinda know what they're gonna do, and it's exciting. It feels familiar. For sure. Dara Reneé: Oh, I love it. Especially like being in Los Angeles like I went to high school out here, so I'm like, okay, this is where you eat at, this is where you get the deals, this, that, and the third. It was just so fun cause it was like, I'm already with family and we're just in a new destination. So, new things to explore, new songs to sing, new people to meet. It was fun. I loved it.

That's so cool. If you could change roles with another character, who would you wanna play? Anyone on the cast.

Oof. I think I I'd swap with Miss Jen. We do like a Freaky Friday episode where um, we like hold the thing and like change people.

That is so smart. Another Disney reference that we have to get into this thing somehow. Dara Reneé: Oh my god. I love Gina. And maybe I just wanna be like season one Gina because I love how she's a baddie, but yeah, I love Gina and I just love Sofia Wylie anyway. I wanna like live in her body for a day. You're great.

Oh, I was gonna say Gina too, but I wanna be different, so I guess I'm gonna say, ah, sorry. I guess I'll say, um, I would love to switch bodies with Corbin Bleu.

True. To look at myself. I'm good. No, but he's literally the homie. So nice. He and his wife are literally the most perfect people ever and um, I'm just so grateful. I just, it's just so much fun. So yeah, Corbin Bleu.

Speaking of Corbin, what was it like having him being in the series considering, you know, obviously he in the original. Like, was that kinda like a surreal moment for you guys? Were you like, is this actually happening? Or were you like, it's fine.

Oh no, like the first day you meet him, you're kind of like, you don't wanna say anything wrong and you're like, I don't wanna bug him with too many High School Musical questions or I just wanna like let him exist. But over time you got comfortable and it was just nice to be able to be like, hey, Corbin. I guess it was, it's it's like having like a big an older brother onset. I mean, he was just so like nurturing and completely gave us guidance and was the kindest and was literally so talented. So it was it was a pleasure just being able to call him a friend.

Yeah, he's been a huge supporter of our show since even before it aired, before anything. He was one of the very first cheerleaders behind it all. And so I think it was, you know, he was destined to definitely be a part of the show in some way. And I'm so glad that we waited until season three where he could be, you know, a part of the majority of the season and, and, you know, and be a substantial character in the way that he should be cause he really is like the heart and soul of, you know, everything that we try to do in the show.

And then if you went to Camp Shallow Lake in real life, who was one celeb because you're in the you have the car scene, you freaked out because you're like, there's gonna be a celeb there. Who is one person that you'd want to be at the camp in real life? Like you would freak out. Like Jack Harlow? Like, what would it, who would it be? Dara Reneé: Jack Harlow.

Or maybe no one. Maybe each other.

I'm gonna say like, I would secretly hope it was a real housewife, so if it like was like Lisa Vanderpump or like Kyle Richards for me, that's all I need. So that's what I would go with.

That's true. Dara Reneé: Ooh. Maybe like, um, uh, like of course now I can't think of a single celebrity. Like why is that happening? I always say it, we're all a huge fan of Beyonce, so like if Beyonce or like Blue Ivy, if Blue Ivy was a camper with us, that'd be cool.

Yes, um, I 100% agree. Uh, Beyonce was my first choice. I'm gonna say Beyonce, Blue Ivy, Rihanna. Dara Reneé: Rihanna, rolled over the baby.

All of us are pretty good at keeping it together when we need to, but I will say that there was one scene this season, um, it was a girl scene and something was going on that I literally if I try to retell it in the story, it's not gonna be funny because it's like one of those you had to be there experiences, but I have never had such a hard time trying to keep myself together. Um, so that did happen this season. But most of us are pretty good at keeping it together when we need to, so.

Ooh. I would say Dara. I think Dara, yeah. Pretty close on. Yeah.

Um, I don't know. Maybe Nini. She's always she seems like the most hopeless romantic, I guess.

Matt. Yeah.

Oh. Okay, the fact that all of us tried season one, I think all of us. All of us. And it's a group effort and we're all gonna wear the bows and show up. Fan girl forever. Yes.
