Hey guys, I'm here with Dominic, and we at Young Hollywood are very excited to see you back on television. Flashforward. I'm guessing that the set isn't as beautiful as Hawaii.

We were doing a lot of stuff on the Disney lot, so it's not really quite as glamorous, you know, but um very close to my house, and it means that I can sleep in my bed every night, so that's kind of fun.

And what do you love most so far about being back on set and shooting Flashforward?

It's good to be busy, you know. I mean, it's good to be working. I I am a little picky about my projects, so when there's nothing coming down the pipe, it gets a little annoying to me because I want to work on quality stuff and I want to work on things that make sense.

And what was it really about this project that you felt like you knew 100% that you really had to commit to this one?

I read the pilot and and I didn't think that there was anything I could do in the pilot, and uh my agent said, "Well, the Goyas really want to meet you." Um they're fans of your work up to now, and, you know, I respectfully went and met them and they just kind of said, "Look, what do you want to do? What do you want to do next?" And I said, "I want to try and play someone that's different from Charlie." It's really important for me to continue to show an audience that I'm not the last character that I played. And they said, "Well, we can do that." And we continued to talk and and it's kind of blossomed since then. Yeah.

How do you think your fans are going to respond to that?

I have no idea. Did I didn't know I had any.

I'm here with Joseph Fiennes now. Flashforward is amazing. Tell me what it was like shooting this.

Same deal. Same deal. Um David Goyer is a riveting man. Um in he's a genius at sort of development, at great narrative, exciting narrative. And what I love about the piece, um and you get the sense of it in the pilot is this juxtaposition between huge global event and human dilemma and conflict.

Can you tell me a little about about your role moving forward and then your kind of relationship with your wife?

Sure. The character I play is a guy called Mark Benford and he is an FBI agent and um he's had a vision like everyone else. Although there are a percentage of people who haven't had visions but the majority have. Um but he's had a vision of himself in the future investigating who was behind this. In my Flashforward, I was investigating what caused all this. The places I saw on the board, they were part of this puzzle.

What do you foresee happening as the plot kind of goes on?

Well, you're confronted with um either positive because don't forget there are wonderful positive things that people see in their Flashforward, people who they who they thought were deceased, um weren't, and they get back into communication with them. There's great love stories that happen. Um and then there's the negative things. But I think the essential question is what would you do to change your future? Um can you change it? So, it's all this great discussion about predestination.

So, what did it take for you to come back to the small screen? Were you waiting for a special project that kind of just like captured your heart?

Well, I don't I think it's it's so changed over the last decade or more the film and television. And a lot of people watch at home. They have bigger screens now, greater quality. And I've been really attracted by by the writing and development for television for several years with programs I've watched. In many ways it's it's given film a run for its money.
