50 Cent Dominates at Superbowl XLII

So we are at the Pontiac Garage, backstage in the Green Room, the toughest place to get into, with this guy, Mr. 50 Cent.

Super Bowl just did a ridiculous performance. I was front row. Talk to us about the performance. 50 Cent: Yeah, I enjoy myself, you know, I mean. I was on a little longer than they anticipated. It was like an hour almost. It was like an old school, new school. It's pretty cool. I mixed up the set, something different. It's not what I was doing on my tour, you know, something new.

All right, so let's talk about the Super Bowl. So who are you rooting for first off? 50 Cent: I'm rooting for the Giants, you know.

Any predictions? 50 Cent: I like doing going with underdogs. Man, I mean this team is definitely a serious team. 18 and 0.

You think the Giants might pull it off? 50 Cent: I think they're going to win.

All right, so let's get a little serious now. So, you know, I started Young Hollywood because I was sick of all the paparazzi, all the rumors that are out there, and we wanted to be an outlet where people can kind of dispel rumors and say, you know what, that's not true, this is how it really is. Is there anything, anyone that's done you wrong or anything you just want to clear up and be like this is the real deal? 50 Cent: I I've told people but it's almost like they disregarded it, as far as a relationship between me and Ciara. We're good friends, and we actually performed with her on a song and they they just they ran with that. But it wasn't bad. So because she's an attractive woman, you know, I didn't mind. Another rumor was me and Tracey Edmonds.

Yeah, we've been hearing that one a lot lately. 50 Cent: So, no truth to that one was so good that I didn't want to to say anything about that.

Tracey's pretty hot, right? 50 Cent: She sure is.

Valentine's Day is coming up. What are you going to be doing for Valentine's Day? 50 Cent: I'm not sure. No plans on going to the gym.

All right, so if you had like a Yahoo fantasy team and you had to pick a player, who would be the number one player you would pick? 50 Cent: Deion Sanders back in his Oh!

Deion, Neon Deion, we remember him. So who who do you think's the greatest football team of all time? 50 Cent: In certain eras, I think there's different teams that was definitely dominant. But right now, you can't take anything away from the Patriots.

Super Bowl. But the actual rings. 50 Cent: Exactly, right? The Giants can take them rings away from the Sunday night. So we're going to check them out.

So we're here at the Pontiac garage, what's in your garage right now? 50 Cent: I got the uh the G6.

And you designed the G6, right? 50 Cent: Street Edition, not inside. And I got the the G8. This is like a uh mine's is a special version too. God. 500 horsepower.

Winning the Super Bowl is the ultimate achievement for an athlete. What would be the ultimate achievement for you? 50 Cent: For an artist, I think the um I guess to to be able to cross genres. In film, I got a project coming out.

He's got a new production company, we're at Sundance. You just announced that. That was pretty hot. Tell us about that real quick. 50 Cent: I'm excited about it. Me and Randy Emmett coming together to create Cheeta Vision. Unchain beauty. And you know, you should expect some projects from me shortly.

There you go, 50 Cent. He's just dominating everything. It's not about the music anymore now. It's movies, it's endorsements, it's designing cars. I mean, what what don't you do? 50 Cent: Well, I don't see any limits. So, you know, I I'll keep going. My ambition is is leading me to a tunnel that won't end. Right. So I continuously involve myself in different things.
