Welcome to Young Hollywood. What's up, guys? We are here at VIP with Mr. Louis Vita. This party's going off though. We had Bumbly. We all look we got we got Paul Wall walking right here. This my dude right here. Paul Wall right here in the mix. Show me your grill. Tell me about your performance tonight and why you're here.
Always off the chain. Performance off the chain. Best part. Somebody was climbing up the speakers and all the speakers fell down on him. Oh no! I don't know if he's all right. I think he's all right. I've seen him on my side.
Oh my god, Young Hollywood. I love it. This dude's a star. So, Kelly, what do you love about Louis Vuitton right now?
Everything. Everything. Me and Louis get our hair cut together.
I could see that. There's a little bit of a resemblance.
He comes over to my house and we get my our hair cut in the kitchen.
In the kitchen. You have the band going on and he just let's let's it go.
Well, I haven't actually brushed my hair in three days so I think I'm probably letting it go a little more than him.
So, do you have the better hair cut or does Kelly?
I do. Look at this lush hair. And him, and him. Remember who you rely on for style tips here. Remember this.
I know, I know. Remember this. We're dancing away later. So, we're still hanging out at the Fantasy Factory with the one and only P-Rod. It is crazy out there. I saw you outside trying to get some of your people in.
Yeah, yeah. What is going on out there? I mean, this is just the hot spot tonight I guess. But like, I guess the fire marshal came and like started blocking everybody. So, like, they weren't letting anybody in.
So, you've been to the Fantasy Factory a lot?
Yeah, a lot. I'm scared a lot.
Have you been on the zip line yet?
You know what? I've been here like a hundred times and never done the zip line.
So, what are the essentials though when the guys that are in the X Games? What's the essential thing you got to do when you're getting ready for it?
Uh, I mean, just keep your head right and basically just stay on your board. You know, it's like it's a simple theory but hard to do.
All right, but if you fall down off your board, how do you recoup and and handle it?
You just got to throw it away. You can't think about it and just continue.
And last thing, any advice you got for the guys out there that are aspiring to be an X Games or to make it to?
Just love what you do, man. Passion is the only thing that brought me here. As long as you love what you do, you'll do it endlessly and tirelessly and it'll just it'll just find you. So, just love what you do.
All right, we've been hanging out with all the new kids in the game. We got the OG here, old school Rick Thorne. How long have you been in the game doing this stuff?
I've been riding bikes like 28 years. So,
How do you stay focused though after 28 years in the game and doing it? How are you you still have the drive to keep going strong?
I think like with anything you just got to set goals. You know what I mean? Like, if you want to be uh, uh, if you just keep reinventing yourself and you're not scared to take risks. Like, I think some people get afraid to take risk and their riding or music or whatever, the way they dress or whatever. But if you just keep reinventing yourself, you're pretty good, you know what I mean?
What what do you think? What do we have in store for the rest of it?
Man, you know what? The first X Games was 1995. I competed in the first nine X Games. Wow. And every year you think like, "Yo, okay." But like, okay, it ain't going to get crazier, but it keeps getting now what what it's gone to is crazy tricks but consistent with crazy. In other words, like a double tail whip you don't save in BMX double tail whip you got to bust out. So, not only do you got to be go big, you got to be consistently big. And that's the differences I see now. It's like the level's so higher but the consistency consistently, I can't even say the word but being consistent at that level is like, that's what's really amazing, you know?
So, here we are chilling at the Fantasy Factory. You've been here before?
Fantasy Factory, I've never been here. So, take people through what's going on inside. The those that can't get in there. I just left the stage where Paul Wall ripping it. Diamonds in my chain, you know what I'm saying? Doing his thing. Show me your grill. He ripped the stage. It it's it's a it's a momentous occasion with beautiful people. Everybody's out tonight, man. All the celebrities, all the skaters, you know what I'm saying? All the excellent hosts. You know? The thespians.
Thank you.
The thespians, the hosts. So, it's only appropriate that we do it right now, tonight. BIG.
