Thank you. And so I get, it's about the Quinn family following tradition around the holidays. How would you explain the show in about two to three sentences?

What a risk. Uh it's about how wonderfully warm and fulfilling it is to go back and see the family after having not seen them all year. All the stress and anxiety that goes with that. Yeah.

Yeah. And then an outsider who's positive and a hopeless romantic, who's hoping to join this family and hoping to win over this man and quickly finds out that he might not be able to. And

You have the motto, there's the Quinn way and there's the wrong way.

Yes.

Is there any scene that you did that would relate or a part of that motto that you see in your real life?

In my real life, I have no rules really.

What a life.

Just like everybody do whatever you want to if you want to, but you don't have to. That's usually my motto. But I'm an actor. And so as an actor. I believed in the Quinn way. I believe there is probably a right way, but I just haven't figured out what it is. So if somebody could teach me, tell me. Yeah.

What the Quinn way? They don't have a hotline for that. All right. Yeah. Yeah. answers for life, please. What piece of advice would you give to someone watching the show on like, how to deal with stress during the holidays?

Well, I mean, where I come from, you know, a drink helps. You know, that that seems to be the good way to start off a family vacation, any holiday. That really helps, you know, because you get everything out and you wake up, you sober up, you apologize. You have a drink to celebrate the apology and then you get back to the same problem and before you leave, you apologize again.

A lot of apologies going around. I would say don't have high expectations. I think it's like I think it's when you have high expectations that you then tend to kind of, you know. Like when you didn't get that pony. You know what I mean. That's when everything goes downhill. So, yeah. I also think like how wrong can things go if you're spending time in the kitchen. You know, like if you're just focusing on the food.

Yes, I I train for Christmas at Christmas and the holiday times actually I I will go out and just get on the 405 here just to be in traffic to feel that. And I go stand in line at the post office just to uh work myself up to it. Yeah, exactly. My ability to take stress.

Take stress. Well, you're doing that's really good methods there that you got. That's why he's veteran advice. And you are posting on social media a lot promoting the show and everything. Actually, you said that you were proud of it and you're looking forward to it getting in the holiday spirit. Who is one celebrity you'd want to DM to have them guest star on the show? Anyone?

Daniel Day-Lewis. Because if anybody could play Santa.

David Hasselhoff for me.

Celine Dion. Could she sing us Christmas carols?

Yeah, probably. She can be in charge.

Yeah.

Man, I haven't thought of that one. But I like all of your guys's options. Or The Rock. You know, he seems to be everywhere.

Yeah, he could fit. I think he could fit in there. Yeah. Yeah. Kid Rock. What what part do you think he'd have?

What part? Once again, Santa. Oh. He can climb down the chimney, you know.

Oh yeah, well. He could rip it off.

Well, we did have Paul Dooley though.

That's true. Legend Paul Dooley was on the show.

Father-in-law. He was also, uh he was the dad in Breaking Away. Yes. Back in the olden days.

Holiday. Was there any ever pranks

You had the same abs from that movie, right now. So, I think it's fun. He takes five minutes in the makeup chair. I'm in there for three hours. So I just have to end up looking like the guy from Up.

Was is there

I was up for that part. They went the other way. Sorry, when your dad is wearing winter sweaters in 118-degree weather and says he's cold, you know where your future's headed. Love you, Dad. He doesn't know.

Was there any ever pranks done on set that you remember that were like so funny?

I don't think we had any pranks. No. You were good to each other.

No, no, no. Remember when when Dennis was pranking you when we were in the mall? He kept shutting the door in your face.

Oh. Oh. He plays pratfalls that he sacrifices his body like for the team just to get a laugh. Everything for a laugh.

And he kept doing this thing where he was about to kill himself every time. So I he was running for this door that he crashes through and just before he got there, I opened it real quick. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Or I would do something different every time.

Or you would close it. You would like hold it closed and then he couldn't get through.

It wasn't in the script. I was I there was no I didn't need to do anything physical in that scene. I just took it as an opportunity.

He's just very committed to his role.

Yeah. Well, this is a moment I could really hurt myself. And then

It's one thing when you're going to hurt yourself, I almost took off a kid's head too, like a kid extra cuz I was holding. Now, he made. I think they all thought we were crazy. But then it's another thing when you crash into a door and the first face you see is Dennis Quaid, that's kind of that kind of a different way. Yeah. It's a little

Definitely. A lot of things seem to go on on the set.

Well, it we definitely became a family. That's for for sure. And uh I just it's just cabins on it. It's a great way to work. It was my first one.

Yeah. First TV family. Look at that. You're proud of the family.

Proud of the family. Good. And he was great. It was uh not going to lie to you as a comedian. It was getting big laughs and that that started to get annoying. Uh you know, cuz uh that's what I have. And uh he comes in and he's like, "I've never done this before." All of a sudden, he's getting laughs and people are laughing and I'm going, "Okay, let's and then

No, you know that's not true.

Well, then that's why I've never done a sitcom before. This is my first. It's a very different animal. It is. And uh you guys were really gracious to me. Uh during those first couple of weeks because uh when you when you say what's supposed to be a punch line or something and there's just empty air out there. It's so scary, isn't it? I can hear peaches going. That's when you know, hey, I have some work to do.

Yeah. We all deal with that though. Like

Yeah. So, I mean, what's one thing you want for Christmas this year? Ooh.

Pick up, pick up. Yeah. Second season.

They could do a whole package thing and just just like for the next five. Yeah. I love it.
