Welcome to Younghollywood. com. I am hanging out with the coolest band After Midnight Project. I'm gonna have you guys introduce yourselves.

I'm T. J. , I play bass.

I'm Christian, I play guitar.

I'm Danny, I play drums.

I'm Jason, I sing.

Spencer, guitar.

Tell us a little bit about your sound.

It's a medley of all sorts of sounds, but it's a heavy pop rock when it comes down to it.

I think we're pretty melodic.

The more melodic, hard, uh, influences that have obviously influenced this band. A lot of classic rock, a lot of, uh, Zeppelin and Floyd and modern stuff like Rage Against the Machine, as of late, like Muse, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Muse, huge.

Definitely grew up like the Beatles, Cat Stevens, more singer-songwriter stuff. And then like Rage Against the Machine, Smashing Pumpkins.

I like everything. Seriously, I even like some of that, uh, Britney Spears. I'm a slave. I'm a slave for you.

So, if you were on an island and you could only take one album with you, what would it be?

Elliott Smith, Basement on the Hill. That's what I'd bring it.

And how did you guys all come together?

Drummer and I are from Detroit, he's from Canada, and Christian and Jason were from LA already and just, I don't know, just kind of one by one, literally, boom, boom, boom, boom. Pieces of the puzzle came together.
