Hey Young Hollywood, I'm Michelle Marie here with Kate Vogel, singer, songwriter, and young up and coming artist.

You are about to go on stage with Ben Lee.

Touring with Ben Lee, um, has been amazing so far.

I can you tell us a little bit more about your sound?

I usually describe it as acoustic rock with some mainstream folk.

It is a pop music that has heart.

So what has the experience been like for you with your Farm Aid tours?

You've also been on stage with John Mayer.

I was on the road with Dave Matthews, Neil Young and Willie Nelson, who are all involved in in Farm Aid.

And he just signed with My Space Records and you are the first artist to sign with them.

Tell us what made you decide My Space out of all the other labels that are out there.

I got a message from Tom Anderson, guy who started the website.

First of all, this has to be fake.

Second, does Tom even exist, let alone send messages.

Do you have over 183,000 friends?

How long did it take for you to rack up that many friends?

When Tom approached me, it wasn't like I had all those friends, or like I had some bedazzled page with like all this cool stuff on it.

And so he was like, I got to check this girl out.

You have a debut coming out on One Tree Hill as an actress, and you're actually playing Mia, a character much like yourself.

Mia is the keyboardist in um, a band called No Means Yes.

K-Fed plays the lead singer, um, Jason, and he gets fired, and I get signed in in, you know, the place of our band.

Mia, let's go.

I think I'm going to stay.

You're an idiot.

Don't call me an idiot.

Where do you actually see yourself in five years?

I set goals, but I also don't want to like just try and plan everything out because this is such an unpredictable business, but in the best way.

Like, if you'd asked me six months ago, what do you think you'll be doing?

I would never have been like, probably filming, you know, a part on One Tree Hill and, you know, and then sitting here at Young Hollywood.
