Hey, Young Hollywood. Larissa Wall here with Omarion. Who's here singing, directing, starring in his own new music video. And we're here getting the sneak peek and behind the scenes look. So tell me a little bit about today. It seems like it's going off already.

Oh yeah, well, a lot is going down, you know. The song is called "Get It In," featuring Gucci Mane. And this is my first time actually directing and uh taking, you know, I'm doing a couple of different hats today. I'm so in love, even when my family is driving. Get it to the moon, baby. Tell me how my bones sound. I know I got it. I know she know it. I know you see it. I know she wants it. We're dancing, we're performing, you know, I got my wide angles, you know what I mean? I got my different lenses, and it's going down.

Okay, so you're actually directing for the first time. You've got to tell me a little bit about how it's going.

Well, it's super interesting, you know, um, time is of the essence. So, you know, I gotta make sure everyone is on point. We broke for lunch uh right now. So, you know, I'm able to, you know, talk to Young Hollywood. Being Young Hollywood. Uh-huh, and I'm feeling good, looking good too.

Tell me a little bit about the concept of this video.

Well, the concept of the video is to really capture, you know, the performing, you know, aspect of who I am. It's a set video, so we're doing all sets and it's like super dope, you know, we have all these green screen walls, like TVs as we're gonna call 'em, you know, that are gonna insert Gucci in, and then it's a a really cool bullseye in the middle of the set.

Now tell me a little bit about the people that are involved in this song with you and how it's been working with them.

Gucci Mane is, you know, what we would call, you know, a hood classic, a hood favorite. You know, he's the people's champ. It just came together, you know, we wanted to take, you know, kind of like, you know, this hip-hop element of this horn and uh, 808 sound, you know, that's really aggressive and, you know, kind of throw some different, you know, uh, as we would call it like slang on it. You know, that's why you hear me in the verse and I'm like, "I didn't cut the braids low cut, got my grown on." You know, like my whole aura and my swag and my steez is just, you know, um, it's kind of in a rap tone. You know, so we kind of took, you know, the hip-hop and mixed it with the R&B.

You've kinda been out of the the music spotlight. Um, and here we are on this music video. What's it like to be back?

It feels amazing. There's a void that needs to be filled in the performing aspect of, you know, of what Michael Jackson did. You know, I feel like now when I think about the stage, I think of it almost like like it's a holy place, you know, because someone, you know, that inspired me so much is not here anymore. So I don't take nothing that I do performance-wise lightly now. You know, I feel like it's my responsibility to perform and give a great performance every time. So this video is dedicated to Michael Jackson. Uh, we really want to showcase the performing.

What do you want people to walk away with after they see this music video?

It's showtime. I want them to feel like when they see Omarion they're seeing, you know, uh, an inspiration of what Michael Jackson used to be. Well, now that he's not here, you know, um, that performing, I want them to feel that energy. That superstar, Omarion's here. I'm back. Let's get it in. Hey, what's going on y'all?
