Fans come up to me all the time, especially after I put out songs like this. They pull me aside and they whisper these stories to me and just all these all these things that they that they tell me, they just really emotionally move me. And um some people get my lyrics tattooed on them, the inspiring lyrics. I have parents coming up to me crying saying that how I've really helped their child and how my music has gotten them through really tough times. And it's just amazing because that's that's really why I do it.

And um to see reactions like that is just it's so much better than winning any kind of a award or making any amount of money, just knowing that your music is helping the world and helping people. Yeah. I can't predict the weather, but you should know that I'll be on a first plane home. I'll be on a first plane home. And I bet if I left right now, I'd probably make it to you by tomorrow morning. So I'm packing all my bags, hopping on this red eye. I'll be there before your eyes even open. What's up, Young Hollywood? Welcome to my backstage diary. And you are now on the set of my new music video, First Flight Home. Music has always been in my blood.

My dad was in a band, my mom was a singer, my sister was a dancer. And um, so music has always just run in the family. In ninth grade, that's when it all started. I started making my own music. I started putting it on YouTube. Um, my sister made my first music video. It got like a thousand views in one night. And I thought it was like the coolest thing in the world. Everything just started happening so quickly. I started getting reactions from kids in my city and my school.

I started hearing kids in my high school talk about my music and um, some some kids had it on their iPods and it was it was a really cool feeling because I've been listening to people all my life and now to have other people listening to my music it was just it was very strange and something that I really liked. So I started to take it more and more seriously. And um, all of a sudden, I got hit up by a manager who kind of took everything that I did to a whole another level and kind of gave me the direction and guidance that I needed. And so, it's been a rocket ship ever since, going at a million miles per hour. My mindset was to go to college. My parents said, you're going to go to college.

We went to college, you're going to go to college. You're going to be successful. And that's what I thought I was going to do until pretty much weeks before I was going to start as a freshman. I made the crazy decision and the crazy risk to uh not go to college at all and um concentrate on my music and see what comes from that. And so, looking back, it was the perfect decision. And I don't regret it one bit. I've been on forever. I'm coming home tonight. There's been some venues, just some iconic venues that we've sold out, House of Blues, Boston, um Best Buy Theater, New York City, where we just had fans wrapped for blocks around New York City. And um, just things like that.

There's been so many things that I wish I could relive. But uh, I know I'm going to be doing even cooler stuff in the future, so I can't wait to see what the future holds.
