Tonight, American Eagle Outfitters and Declare Yourself have joined to unveil an exclusive line of t-shirts designed by Hollywood's hottest stars in order to encourage young Americans to register and vote.

Why is it important for young people to get out there and vote?

I think just because a lot of this stuff appeals to young voters.

I'm here to, you know, mingle with the first-time voters.

Did you design a t-shirt today?

I didn't, but I'm excited to see 'em.

I'm kind of a girly girl.

I think I'd do like a bright hot pink with like a bright, like, vote sign, you know?

That'd be really cool.

I'm here with the very fierce Christian Siriano from Project Runway.

Tell me about your shirt here because this is not just any vote shirt.

No.

What did you do?

A seriously haute couture original.

Basically, I wanted it to be more of like, you could wear it over any t-shirt, so I added a zipper, make it like a little jacket, with a fabulous little pleated sleeve, which is very me.

You know, obviously voting, it's going to shape our lives.

I'm young too.

Why was it important for you to be a part of this event?

You know what?

Because it goes back to my senior year of high school.

My high school recreated the democratic process, and I became what we now know to be a super delegate.

My vote was bought and paid for with a four-pack, and ever since then I've carried around this enormous amount of guilt about misusing my voice.

And it's just to get the word out that young people, your vote does count, your voice needs to be heard.

Yeah, I'm registered.

I'm registered with Declare Yourself and we actually, you know, I designed one of their little American Eagle shirts.

And I basically just used a lot of red, white, and blue, circled it, kind of highlighted the Declare Yourself and vote, which is very important, and then I threw in three green stick figures.

I think it's very important to make a statement, make a declaration to vote, especially right now with the presidential campaign coming up.

And with the position that America is in right now, I think probably one of the most important times.
