Young Hollywood

We're excited to talk to you today about behind the TikTok.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

I'm excited too.

Young Hollywood

(upbeat music) I literally, I was like, obviously stalking your page, I was like, okay, we need to have her on Young Hollywood for behind the TikTok because you're getting like millions of views. The tricks you do are insane.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Oh, thank you.

Young Hollywood

The main question that we love to know is how many TikTok drafts do you have?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Oh, TikTok drafts. I have a lot. Here, let me see. Oh my God. I have 223. That, I feel like that's okay though. Like, that's not too bad. I don't know, I think, I feel like some other people have way more.

Young Hollywood

Yeah. What would you consider a lot?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

A thousand.

Young Hollywood

Yeah, yeah. How long does it usually take you, like when you go to do a video, do you do it, like at least three times? Is it like one take?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Um, normally I like to get at least two times to see which one's better, but then sometimes I'll end up just like keep going, because I'm like, I can get a little better, a little better but then I keep drafting everything.

Young Hollywood

Right. So then, that's what builds up like the 223. Of your 223, 200 of them are to like one sound.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Yeah, it's one sound and they're all drafts.

Young Hollywood

What would you say, like when you are re-watching your videos, what do you pay most attention to? Like detail, like do you pay attention to like what your face is making, like how your body moves? Like, what do you, like what do you, your biggest critique on?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

I'd say, I'd say how my body moves for sure. Yeah, definitely.

Young Hollywood

Okay so, when you are going to pick out a sound how do you usually decide on which sound you're going to do?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Um, either, I would say I either decide like, whether if it's trending or if I just really liked the song.

Young Hollywood

And for, what would you say is your favorite TikTok sound right now or dance right now?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Oh. There's this new one, um, it's actually one of my recent ones. I forgot what it's called but, should I just play it?

Young Hollywood

Yeah, you can pull it up.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Um, it's this sound. (music playing)

Young Hollywood

Oh, yeah, yeah. I love it. That one. I don't know what the song's called but I like it. I know it's like, that's like when you're driving in the car and stuff like that, and you hear, or even, wait, if it comes up on your Spotify or something, you hear the song, do you kind of start doing the TikTok dance like with all TikTok songs? Kind of like, all of the like Doja Cat's like songs. Like say so, you're like, say so.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Literally, it's so hard. Like when you're just not walking to just start doing like the woah too, and like random dances.

Young Hollywood

And you've been to the hype house a couple of times, right?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Yeah.

Young Hollywood

Make some videos there. What would, what's your personal favorite part of the hype house?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Oh, the pool. The pool's so nice.

Young Hollywood

It is sick.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

But, yeah I know it's, it's always like super warm, like the pool's like the hot tub.

Young Hollywood

Oh, that's a good to know. Yeah. And I saw, cause we had, we talked to Kellyanne about her behind the TikTok and you have that. Like, you have like 17 million like views on that one, right? The one in front of the pool you did with her.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Yeah, yeah it's crazy. Yeah, it's the one with her.

Young Hollywood

How many times did you do that video?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Um, okay so Kellyanne was trying to like, get up a lot and it was kind of hard for her. So I'd say it took like 10 times to get up.

Young Hollywood

Yeah. And for you, you're just like chilling. Like, cause you do all sorts of things so you're good.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

I mean, I pulled, Kellyanne's like super light to me because I've held like 250 pounds. So, she was like super light and it's like one of those things where, for some reason when I'm in a backbend I like, don't feel like, a lot of weight. Like, if you like, weigh a lot.

Young Hollywood

Yeah. Well that's an interesting. Kellyanne's like really light, so. Yeah, and for your videos that you do like all the different moves and everything like that, when you're doing them by yourself and people are watching are they like, always amazed by you? Like in person?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Oh, in person, well, I always get asked like every time I see like, a fan or anything just like, can you do contortion? Like right now but.

Young Hollywood

Do you do it if they ask or you, it depends where you are.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

It depends where I am and like what I'm wearing.

Young Hollywood

Like full blown dress and you're like, I can't, I'm sorry. I'm like, I can't do any of that right now. How, who would you say, out of all the TikTok's and people you've made TikTok's with, who's the easiest person to make a TikTok with?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Easiest. Probably my friend Jake, just because we're always hanging out and like, I literally probably wouldn't have gotten to take TikTok if it wasn't for Jake, because Jake was always the one that's like, let's make a TikTok, so.

Young Hollywood

Okay, and now you're like, let's make it TikTok.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

I was like, this is fun.

Young Hollywood

Who would you say is the hardest person, like who can't get the hang of the dance or like who always has to like, be like, I need to retake this one.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Oh, I'm about to call my friend out here. Um, I'd say Teala. My friend Teala Dunn. Yeah. Just because it takes her a while to like learn the dances.

Young Hollywood

It's hard. Those dances can be hard. Like sometimes you either get them or you're just like, wait, let me do, like I have to do that fifty million times before I learn that dance. You have 7. 6 million followers, which is insane.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Oh, thank you.

Young Hollywood

Do you ever look at it and you're just like what the heck?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Yeah it's, it's crazy because TikTok like grows so fast on it and like it's so easy to grow on it, it's crazy.

Young Hollywood

So this one was the one with Kelly. Or was that.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Yeah. with Kellyanne.

Young Hollywood

Like you're literally upside down.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Yeah.

Young Hollywood

And you look really good upside down too which is like.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Oh thank you.

Young Hollywood

Every time I'm upside down, upside down like the blood has rushed in my head. Like it's not cute. I think And your just like.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

I think my body's just used to being upside down, so. Yeah. The blood doesn't rush to my head.

Young Hollywood

Literally look so good. Okay, so this one, with all the girls.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Yeah.

Young Hollywood

Were you guys, what were you, what was, what were you doing that night?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

We're all just like having a hot tub night and um, we're all just making some TikTok's and I was just like, everyone, all the girls get in, let's do this. So.

Young Hollywood

That one was really, really cute, and then for the, okay so, you were obviously at the beach in these ones.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Yeah.

Young Hollywood

That's a really fun sound to. What beach were you at?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Um, I think it was Laguna.

Young Hollywood

Uh, Laguna's so pretty. And (mumbling) How long.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

There was like a group of teenagers that was just staring at us the whole time during this and, I remember Jake and I were just like, just do it, trust me, the TikTok's gonna be great, like.

Young Hollywood

Yeah, it's going to be fine too but how many times did you do this one do you think?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Hm, I'd say about five because I was messing up.

Young Hollywood

Yeah, what part did you mess up the most?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Um, It was this one, the. Yeah, to get it back.

Young Hollywood

Oh, well it turned out, it turned out great. And then this one. (music playing) That one's right at the hype house, right?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Yeah, that was there, yeah.

Young Hollywood

How long did it take you to do that one?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Uh, I think that was just the second take, actually.

Young Hollywood

That worked out really good. And the hug at the end is so natural. Was the hug planned or you just ended up hugging.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

No, we just ended up hugging. It worked out so good.

Young Hollywood

Yeah. And, when you're making TikTok's with people and stuff like, just like this one are you usually like, hey, let's make a TikTok, or it's like, you're already doing it and they jump in. Like how does the dynamic work around the hype house and stuff?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Um, kind of just depends to be honest. Sometimes you're just like, hey wanna, wanna do this dance? Do you know it? Okay, let's do it. Like, it's just kind of like that.

Young Hollywood

Yeah. Or, or you'll be like in the middle of making one and they can just join in.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Yeah.

Young Hollywood

Okay then of course this one. When you start like that, where you, did you plan to start back like that or you just happened or?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Well um, I was kinda just like, I wanna make, I wanna make this interesting so I just kinda like, like, oh, let's go backwards. (laughing)

Young Hollywood

You can, you're definitely the perfect person to make the TikTok's interesting. You can definitely do it. And how many takes did it take to make that one?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

I'm trying to think. I actually still have the drafts. Um, I think that was like the sixth time cause we were trying to be super in sync. Yeah. Yeah, yeah.

Young Hollywood

And usually, like when you're done making the TikTok you, you're like, okay, let's do it again or it's just like, you guys know to do it again, or how does it usually work?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Sometimes, sometimes it's like one of those things where you, like, you watch it and you like look at each other and you're kind of just like like seeing if the other person wants to do it again because you're kinda just like, can, can we like do this again?

Young Hollywood

And for these ones Which are absolutely insane.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Thank you.

Young Hollywood

Do you just, who, who like, who filmed that one?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Um, It was my friend filmed it and I was on the, I remember I was on the edge and they were like, they're like please don't fall off and they were just little sketched out about it.

Young Hollywood

Literally, were you scared at all that you were gonna fall or you're like, nah?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

No. Not really. Like if I'm doing like a handstand off the ledge I'll probably know I won't fall. Also like, if I, well, I was going to say, if I fell it wouldn't be that bad but it actually would have been. That one might've been bad. A couple other, maybe not so much, but that one definitely probably would have been horrible. Yeah, it would not have been that great.

Young Hollywood

And of course this one. Were you like nervous to post this or you were like, all game.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Oh yeah actually. It was like a trend on a. Yeah. Trend, and then I was kind of just like, I feel like, I feel like that'd be fun to post so I got my friend Matilda on, in on it and we kinda just like, I kind of just went on the internet and typed in attractive eyes. Those ones popped up, I love it.

Young Hollywood

Did any of the guys that you put comment on it or anything?

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Yes.

Young Hollywood

What did you do? Where you're like, oh God.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

I was like, oh no, why did I post this.

Young Hollywood

I love how it stayed up though. I love how it stayed up.

Contortionist Sofie Dossi

Yeah, I was like gonna take it down. I don't know, I was kinda just like, mhm, I'll just. No it's fine, they probably already saw it anyways. I thought it was cool.

Young Hollywood
