What's up guys? Leslie Robbins here for Young Hollywood in East LA at the home of The Kinjaz. It's a dance studio, but I want to sound cool and look cool, so it's a dojo. The Kinjaz Dojo. I'm not as cool as you guys. I need to step up my game.
You're almost there, but I feel like there's like one missing piece. I feel like we have something for you. About to Kinjify you.
I'm getting Kinjified. Oh! The pass. This is Kinjifi. Yeah. Show it off, show it off, show it off. Oh. Okay. Here we are. Second floor of your space. This is really cool. I want you to teach me some moves and I want you to be really kind to me. Will you teach me? I I'm dressed now. Okay, okay. But I'm looking at this dance class right now, and it is bad ass if I could say. Uh-huh. I mean bad ass.
Uh, so yeah. We can teach you a dance move. Are you ready? I don't know, you got to like we like to uh, use our joints and get uh, we get super flexible with it and use our entire body. Are you ready for it right now?
I I know what you do. I I see it. I love it. Shall we? I'm gonna be patient. Okay. Uh-huh. And clean. Okay. And I'm gonna pay attention to details. Let's do it. Let's do it.
Okay. It's gonna be relatively calm. You're not even gonna break a sweat. It's really just gonna be uh, more so using uh, your mind. Okay? One you're just gonna chill. You're gonna have this like little pose. You're gonna be zenned out. On two, you're gonna lift up this arm, okay? At the same time, I'm gonna lift up my arm. One. Two is up here. Three, four and then I go slow motion out of it. You know what I'm saying? So imagine sharp, slow motion.
Yeah. Kinjafy. Talk about the brand, the movement.
Kinjaz is a brotherhood of artists. Originally brought together by dance, but um, there's like so many things that we do. We do it all. I mean, we have a media company. We film everything that we do. We create our costumes. Our clothing is all created by us. But overall, this is just our headquarters. This is like our space for the entire family. We're just really just a a group of friends that just kick it here every single day. So, when I drop on this two, three, four. You change your attention to your left. Five.
Oh, five is change.
Yeah, it's just a shift. And then six is powerful. Melt seven eight. So literally just the exact same thing as if we did one, two, three, four. One, two, three, four. Same thing. You know what I'm saying?
I felt cool.
Yeah, you feel it, right? It's like chill. It's like really relaxed. All right, I feel too right. Crash course in hips, okay? Crash course in hips. Okay, hips. Hips is taken from a style called popping, okay? It's called popping because you're literally popping your joints. Right? So you have a defibrillator, right? And I'm like bringing you back to life. What would that feel like? It makes your body go, right? Exactly, exactly. It's that it's making all your muscles flex really fast and strong, but really fast. When I came down on this seven, eight, you're going to hit one. One. And that one makes my body turn this way. One. But it's slow. It's not a one. It's a one, two, three, four.
Now you guys aren't just a basic dance company. You guys actually won best dance company at the World Dance Awards.
This is true. We did. We've been doing this our whole lives. Straight up. And even on television. Dance television is just we're seeing this as a as a stage of dance television. Like we've done other shows before and it's really cool to see how far the whole culture has come. And for us we see the show as not so much like a competition. I'm not trying to sound like we're better than anything. But to be honest, we're looking at the show as a just another platform for our urban dance culture to uh, just be spread to the masses. Yeah. Um, and so in that way, it was really fun for us to be uh, continue to be a part of this movement. You ready for the another last move? All you're doing is five, six, seven, eight. All we're going to do is you're going to bring in this right foot. Yeah. And you're going to Kinja Bang. That's it. So really just seven, eight, one, two, three, four. Six, seven, eight. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. One, two, three, four.
Hey! You did it. Boom! Kinjafy. Is that what Kin is that?
No, this is our new Kinjafy thing. This is just This is new. This is new just for you. We're we're showering you with this right now. With this energy. With this Kinja energy.
