ABOUT ADAM BRODY
Adam Brody became a 2000s pop-culture fixture as Seth Cohen on Fox's The O.C., a role that turned his comic timing and music-nerd sensibility into a generational shorthand. The show ran from 2003 to 2007 and remains the reference point for the modern teen dramedy.
Post-O.C., Brody built one of the more interesting indie/genre filmographies of his peer group: Jennifer's Body, Ready or Not, Promising Young Woman, and Shazam!, alongside acclaimed TV work on Fleishman Is in Trouble and Showtime's StartUp. In 2024 he co-led Netflix's Nobody Wants This opposite Kristen Bell as Rabbi Noah Roklov, a performance that became one of the streamer's most-discussed of the year and earned him Golden Globe and Critics' Choice nominations.
Off-screen he is married to actress Leighton Meester; the couple have been together since 2013 and are notoriously private about their family life.
