By far, one of, if not the, most popular trends on the carpet last night was the Victorian silhouette. High necks, poofy sleeves or shoulders, ruffs, lace, creams and pastels... all were in play as these actresses decided to kick it VERY old school with looks harkening back to the very beginnings of cinema itself!

"Bates Motel" star Vera Farmiga kicked off the trend looking every inch like the original Mrs. Bates herself in this elegant yet modest red gown with gorgeous lace detail.

"The Act" winner Patricia Arquette served us some Victorian Wedding Realness in this simple, flowy white gown.

"GLOW" star Jackie Tohn traded in her sequined wrestling leotard for some Strict Victorian School Marm vibes, and I am here for it.

In true Cersei Lannister fashion, "Game of Thrones" star Lena Headey put a more scandalous spin the trend with her plunging neckline. We approve!
