It was here where we were introduced to Jane (Gina Rodriguez), a virgin saving herself for marriage, her sexually free wildcard mother Xiomara, and her ultra conservative Catholic grandmother Alba. Their lives take an unexpected turn when Jane’s gynecologist Luisa finds out her wife is cheating on her and, in her depressed state, accidentally artificially inseminates Jane.
