Riker Lynch Releases Debut Single “Sex On The Beach”!

This week, Riker Lynch, previously of R5, released his debut single “Sex on the Beach” as a part of his new project, Riker and the Beachcombers. Along with the debut single came a sexy new music video, and honestly, both the song and the video give off the perfect “end of summer” vibes that we’re all looking for now as we cling on to the last bits of the season.

The song was written by Riker along with fellow R5 bandmates Ellington Ratliff, Ross Lynch, and Rocky Lynch, who also produced the track. Riker and Gordy De St. Jeor directed the vid, while Gus De St Jeor produced it. Not to mention, Gordy and Gus, Riker’s younger cousins, are just 17 and 18 years old! Can you believe how much talent they must have to direct and produce a music video like this? Major props, boys!

Riker truly killed it with this new song. The vocals, the lyrics, the video concept, everything was so well done!

The video stars Riker’s real life bae and fiance Savannah Latimer, “Colossal Youth” co-star Kimmy Caruso, and friend Kyla Laufer. The three girls hang by the pool having fun in the sun while Riker acts as the pool boy, admiring Savannah and daydreaming about her. We also get to see him show off some bartending skills, while he makes, of course, a Sex On The Beach cocktail. Yum!

We can’t wait to hear more music from Riker and the Beachcombers, which Riker has teased on social media will be coming “soon” (ah, that infamous word). He’s also given us the names of some upcoming tracks, including “She Just Wants To Be Famous” and “My Girl Rita”.

The first song is a total jam that will have everyone listening on a loop while they sip on a drink by the pool or hang out at the beach.
