Rebel Wilson Finds Herself Stuck In a RomCom In 'Isn’t It Romantic'!

Last week, the first trailer at Rebel Wilson’s new movie, Isn’t It Romantic, dropped, and oh boy, are we excited.

The trailer opens with a young girl named Natalie watching Pretty Woman. Her mom comes in to tell her, “Girls like us don’t get that… we’re no Julia Roberts.” Since then, Natalie hasn’t liked romantic comedies.

25 years later, we again meet Natalie, now a working woman who still thinks romantic comedies are bad. “All those movies are lies set to terrible pop songs,” she says. One day, when Natalie gets off the subway, she gets mugged. After fighting her attacker and trying to run off, she runs directly into a pole and knocks herself out. When she awakens in the emergency room (to the tune of “A Thousand Miles”, because duh), she finds herself with a whole new life. New York looks prettier, her apartment is suddenly huge and filled with lavish clothes, and guys are suddenly looking her in the eyes.

Natalie soon realizes she’s been put inside her worst nightmare -- she’s stuck in a romantic comedy. “And it’s PG-13!!!!” she yells.

We then get a big dance montage set to Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”. Natalie realizes that, to escape this alternative RomCom universe, she has to get a man to fall in love with her. Hilarity and chaos ensue, of course.

Isn’t It Romantic also stars Adam Devine, Liam Hemsworth, and Priyanka Chopra. The film will be out this February, just in time for Valentine’s Day! We can’t wait to see this hilarious film that’s about hating RomComs but will definitely turn out to be a RomCom. Oh, the irony. With a cast this talented, this film is bound to be epic, awesome, and undoubtedly romantic and funny as heck. I mean, how could it not?
