Kevin Jonas Is FINALLY Getting His Due And It’s About Time!

Oh how the tables have turned.

Before TikTok was ever a thing, before even Vine was a thing, the Jonas Brothers posted this viral nugget of content to their YouTube channel. And it was this same joke that they used to announce their reunion last year.

Now, one year after the announcement, the tables truly have turned. Because, with the Happiness Begins Tour successfully behind them, one thing has become abundantly clear:

Kevin Jonas is FINALLY getting the love he deserves.

Personally, Kevin has always been my favorite of the brothers. I was that girl that got weird looks during the “Who’s your favorite JoBro” conversations.

Maybe it’s because he’s the oldest of the brothers, and during our teenage years it’d be weird to have a thing for him. Maybe it’s because Camp Rock portrayed Kevin as the “dumb” brother and it was hard to see him any other way.

Whatever it was, Kevin Jonas was just hopelessly overlooked. “Lonely Kevin” even became a viral meme.

To his credit, Kevin Jonas himself took it in stride, and still does. Because, as sad as it is, Lonely Kevin still strikes every now and then.

On the whole, though, Kevin is far more appreciated now than he was, and it’s about damn time.

It seems to have started in the Chasing Happiness”documentary the brothers released on Amazon Prime. The special showed a lot more of Kevin than we’d gotten used to, and it was a blessing.

First and foremost, it proved that, yes, Kevin himself can sing! He’s always been able to, as the documentary showed a clip of him performing as a kid.

In fairness, Kevin did put his singing skills on display in "JONAS", the brothers’ show on Disney Channel in 2009.

But let’s face it – “JONAS” was a bit of a flop. The brothers themselves even acknowledged during the documentary that doing it was a factor that led them to breaking up.

You know who never broke up, though? Kevin and his now0wife, Danielle. Thanks to Chasing Happiness, a little light was shed on their love story, and we got to see exactly how crush-worthy Kevin has always been.

There’s a moment from November 2007 showing Kevin talking with Danielle on the phone as his brothers mess with him and shout advice in the background. When Kevin tells his brothers off, Nick just says, "Sorry, we're just really excited because she's your wife."

Here we are, 13 years later, and indeed she is his wife, and together, they have two adorable daughters. And that brings us to yet another part of Kevin to love these days -- DadKevin is literal goals.

Fans even brought signs to the Jonas Brothers’ Happiness Begins Tour celebrating Kevin’s daughter.

Seriously, if your heart needs some healing today, just scroll through any one of Kevin’s social media feeds and look at all the posts of or about his daughters.

In the last year, it’s like a switch has been flipped in the world, and people are finally starting to wake up to how great Kevin Jonas has been for FOREVER. He’s always just been doing his thing.

So, hey Kevin, if you’re reading this, consider it an open apology on everyone else's behalf (NOT OURS) for taking so long.
